“Feb 17, 2024.Really great spot to grab a quick bite !Food was tasty, I had ordered 2 burritos with a side order of fried potatoes (country style). And liked them so much that ordered 2 more (to go). You may create your own burrito while ordering at the counter. Very affordable prices.Quick and friendly service. Spotless clean. Kudos to the members, management and the owner. Mucho gracias !Hungry trucker ????“
“Great food! The catfish was super delicious and I don't even like catfish. My son had it I tried it and it was super good. They had a barbecue special with brisket chicken and sausage that was delicious it's not on the menu. Heavily recommend the green chili asadero cheese sauce.“
“This was, without a doubt, the best burrito I've ever had. Chile verde! The asado was excellent, but the chile verde was fantastic! I found this little gem online randomly driving through and wow, all those 5 star reviews weren't kidding. Sitting at a dusty intersection, under a perfectly decrepit old sign and a more modern one, this little place is easy to miss. Would drive out of my way to go again.“
“Typical small town Tex-Mex restaurant. The server was very friendly and helpful, but was too busy to be as attentive as she could with a sudden influx of people. Another lady, perhaps the owner, delivered some drinks to a large party but otherwise the server was on her own in the restaurant. The food was tasty and the place was clean. The salsa was pleasantly spicy. A cash discount was available.“
“Truck broke down and I ate here lunch, dinner and breakfast in that order before truck got fixed. Awesome food and service. Even let me bring my little pup in which they spoiled with bacon. Thanks so much for making a terrible incident much better.“
“Her tamales were spicy but delicious - recommend at least 2..!The burritos are smaller than a 'normal' Tex-Mex one but are priced accordingly aaaand they are delicious...! I had x2 and was satisfied - the barbacoa specifically was one of the best I have had in a long time and highly recommended..! They are just meat not with rice and beans, etc.The empanadas on the counter are also fantastic - like a biscochito taste and texture put some pineapple taste inside..!I spoke enough Spanish to have no issues ordering and they take Visa, too. You won't find a better lunch for the money!“
“We. We're driving into Ft. Stockton and were needing breakfast for two kids and 2 adults and were not feeling up to the normal truck stop: McDonald's. So I found this on yelp and it was soooooo good. The menudo was on point and the restaurant was clean w great service. My new stop now.“
“My family stopped in for breakfast while traveling and were very happy we did! The service was excellent and the food was excellent. We had huevos rancheros, machaca plate, and huevos con chorizo. The portions were generous and everything tasted great. The huevos rancheros were on the spicy side and were among the best I’ve ever had. This is our new go-to breakfast place in Ft. Stockton. (I’m sure lunch is fantastic too)“
“Some of THE BEST and most authentic TexMex food I've had anywhere in the country. My wife's fajitas and my stuffed burrito were AMAZING! We also had awesome fresh guacamole, and the chips and salsa were perfectly warmed and just-right spicy, respectively. All of this was made and served by a warmly welcoming staff. We visited on a Wednesday evening and Tacos OJ seemed to fill up pretty quickly during the dinner hour...which is a testament to how good this cuisine is! Make it a point to stop when staying in Fort Stockton, or even if you're just passing by.“
“Pros: husband had chicken breast plate and like it, I had cheese enchiladas and they were good, and my sister in law had ham plate and like all but the mashed potatoes. Cons: Smaller restaurant had a live singer and it was pretty loud at times for that small of a building. She sounded very lovely great singer and others that she was closer too really enjoyed it. So I'm not sure if that's a Friday night thing I'm this small town or there was an occasion. Once again just a smaller space for live indoor music.“
“What ever is written on the front widow is whats for lunch! We had Flautas today. A yankee might call it toquitos. It was authentic Tex-Mex. I enjoy ma and pop place that has the courage to stand on one dish a day and that’s it! You get whatever mama is making and i was thrilled! Beautiful spirit in this place!“
“The margs are awesome and only 6.99$ but the story of the day is the food! Best burrito I’ve ever had (fajita chicken Jalisco burrito) This place is a hidden treasure and the service is excellent - We had Cesar taking care of us! Will be back every time we come thru town! ??“
