“Absolutely the best restaurant in Fort Stockton! Their food is deliciously consistent, interior is clean, & staff is very friendly. No other local restaurant compares to Mi Casita. We got so tired of eating bad beans & tasteless enchiladas at another well-known & local Tex-Mex restaurant with a sub-par interior until we discovered Mi Casita. Anyone that knows anything about delicious food will return to Mi Casita only!“

“Best Burger (Roy's Big Burger or the Mexican Burger with the big Chili lol) in Fort Stockton. Pepito's Cafe, thank you for being awesome EVERY TIME. Great food = Great Employees, Great Team!👍And yes, their Huevos Rancheros (served all day) is delicious, also!“

“We couldn’t believe ratings were so low here but people giving one star for slow service is crazy unfair. The food was great, very simple, flavored well. We got the Guedalajara (tostados with beef, beans, guacamole 🥑) and the combo plate with green sauce and beef. Friendly servers!“

“Home cooking at its finest.
We flew into Ft Stockton over the weekend during Barrio fest and fortunately discovered this gem while walking around. I love the method of having one item per day and wish I could go back for more of their offerings.
Seriously the best Torta I’ve ever had in my life. Would happily fly back there just for another one.
The world needs more places like La Posada“
“The tamales were outstanding! I got a half dozen of the pork and they were not too spicy, the masa was really flavorful and the filling really rich. Super friendly staff. Also got a pack of tortillas and they fried up into excellent tostadas! Definitely a hidden gem!“

“Delicious! We’re just driving through town and wanted a quick brunch. We got the brisket, barbacoa, and papas y chorizo. All of them were good; the brisket was hubby’s favorite and I liked the barbacoa best. Important to note that the burritos include exactly what they say. So a brisket burrito is a huge pile of brisket wrapped in a homemade tortilla. No sauce, no cheese, no fillers. Just a huge pile of deliciously flavored meat. I’m not sure I could buy and cook my own brisket for the price I paid for that burrito. They’ll give you salsa to add if you want the flavor boost, and that was also delicious. As of 01/2026, they were $6 each. A lot of meat in a 12” tortilla; and it was delicious and I didn’t have to cook it. And if you’re a keto/carnivore eater, just order it and then give the tortilla to someone you love. I don’t know where else you can get a giant roadside hunk of delicious meat for $6. Highly recommend!“

“I had a terrible experience turned into a terrific one. I was wanting to never return after I was treated poorly by a restaurant employee on Wednesday evening but it was turned completely around when i spoke to Taylor who made me feel like an appreciated returning customer again. Kudos to her management skills. Thank you!“

“My dad and I stopped through here on our way back to California for a late night meal. It was 15 minutes to closing and we felt very guilty for coming in so late.
Needless to say, they were so kind. We were given a basket of chips before we ordered and large waters (necessary for road trippers)
We ordered the chicken torta and the al pastor burrito.
One of the best burritos I’ve ever had.
My dad said best torta he’s ever had.
Best Tex mex I’ve had by far. I never understood why you’d put sour cream or iceberg lettuce In a burrito, but they proved to me why. It added such a nice brightness to the food. The burrito was served on a homemade flour tortilla. I mean common! They knew what they were doing. I’m grateful for the late night snack and I hope to eat here again someday!“
