Having lived in San Antonio for 20 plus years, I know what good Tex-Mex tastes like, and this is A+ Tex-Mex. As silly as it sounds, I always have to order a basic bean and cheese taco because it's like a place that sells burgers: if they don't excel at the basics, they won't excel outside of the basics. I went because my dad swears by it. And he wasn't lying. The Mexican coffee is out of this world too.

This place is so legit! We look for places like this, family run spots. The gorditas were big, super fresh, very homemade. 5 star plus easy. And the food was served hot, too hot to eat at first. This is a big thing for me. Totally recommend.

If you want that hole in the wall fresh food like your eating in you friends moms kitchen this is the spot. I’ll be back. The Mexican coffee is fire too omg took me back to my youth hanging out at my friends in the morning and getting a hot home made plate.
