We love Dairy Queen. Growing up, Mama would say, “let’s go get a Sunday or dipped cone” one evening a week. At that time, we had the luxury of a DQ within walking distance. We had Belt busters and corn dogs minutes away! It closed years ago, but we were delighted to find this McCart location. It’s clean and the staff is excellent. It’s clean, and they make an effort to get to know you. The steak and gravy is our favorite!

I haven't been to DQ in years. I got an ice cream cone, and it was as good as I remembered it was. I was disappointed in the food, though. I always got the DQ dude, and I really liked it before, but this time, the sandwich lacked flavor. All I could taste was the sweet mayonnaise and lettuce. Not the meat. As for food and service, this was my best experience at this DQ EVER!! It was free ice cream cone day so of course, the store was hella busy. The workers were on their game though. My aunt and I ordered dinner in addition to our free cones. My aunt had the Hungerbuster meal; I had the steak finger meal. Our food arrived hot, fresh, and incredibly timely for the crowd and line. We asked for a towel to clean the table and stuff was ready to come clean it off. We wiped it down ourselves...
