Loved it! After sending my friends there multiple times and hearing their reports / seeing their pics, I finally made it. I was looking for a burger one day on the way home from the airport and remembered Dayne's burgers. A week ago, a neighbor picked up a couple of burgers from Dayne's for the wife and I. Oh how amazing they were. So now I'm in there and in line looking at the menu. So many good choices - so I made a plan. Today, grab a burger and Frito Beans, then come back Sunday for a Beef Rib and Burnt ends. The burger was amazing. Two thin patties, 2 kinds of cheese and some red onion. Perfect. And I really liked the Frito Beans. Beans at BBQ joints can be hit and miss. I loved their take on beans. C'mon Sunday - can't wait for a Beef Rib!

So, I've been seeing posts with Dayne's OG burger all over FB the past few months, and every time I see it, I start drooling. I just HAD to try this burger! Imagine my surprise when hubby called me up after getting his car services last Saturday morning asking if I "wanted to try that place out in Aledo". I thought he'd never ask! We arrived around 11am so there was already a short line out the door. We aren't typically people who wait around in a line to dine somewhere, but we did make an exception here. The line, while it didn't seem all that long, still took us about 40 minutes to get through. Which isn't bad in todays BBQ line standards. Plus, I was able to grab a few beers from the bar in the back to sip on while waiting. Once we ordered though, our food came out in record speed. I would say less than 10 minutes. So they are cooking it up and cranking it out fast! We both ordered the OG burger with sides of street corn, loaded potato salad, and the banana bourbon delight. My first bite into the burger had my eyes rolled back in my head. SO GOOOOOODDD!! It's very simple with 2 smash patties, cheese, red onion, and special sauce. It was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. It makes me very happy I don't live in Aledo as Dayne would get all my money. The potato salad was also very good and our 2nd favorite item tied with the banana bourbon dessert. The salted caramel drizzle really sets this dessert apart. My least favorite was the corn, but could be that I'm biased as the one I make at home is in a league of it's own ;) We also bought some cold brisket and sausage to go. You can get these at a discount! The brisket was good reheated, one of the pieces was a little dry, but the rest were juicy and flavorful. I didn't get to try the sausage as my hubby ate it all. I think when we go back, I will stick with the burger and the meats....and maybe a few of those delights!

Brisket is brisket, Beef ribs were good, potato salad was good. The beans are excellent.I think it would be a good barbecue place if it wasn’t overpriced the 1 rib was $284 small slices of brisket $14We received four slices of brisket, one beef rib beans, and potato salad almost $80, including a 10& tip to go

We have been wanting to make the trip to Dayne’s and finally were able to make it today. We had tried going several weeks ago but the line was pretty long and we had hungry kiddos. After trying today, the line is completely understandable, get there early to insure nothing is sold out and the wait isn’t bad. It is more than worth it! We got the Texas Trinity, the burger and the banana pudding (definitely getting more than one next time!) Everything exceeded our expectations by far and we can’t wait for our next trip to Daynes.

I’ve traveled throughout the states for work and I always try to find good bbq to try out. This place definitely moves to the top of my list. I tried the Trinity Platter and sampled 3 different meats ribs, sliced brisket and the Jalapeño Havarti sausage. All 3 top notch. I will be back very soon.

Lisa and I were finally able to get to Dayne's to sample their BBQ. It did not disappoint. We had the lean brisket, the sausage and some turkey. We didn't need to use any bbq sauce as the meat had more than enough flavor. The service was quick and friendly and the restaurant is very nice. We will definitely be back to sample more of their delicious food.

They had a line out the door but was not a long wait maybe 20 minutes.I ordered the bacon brisket sandwich and frito beans. They were both very good. The bacon brisket sandwich was different from the norm but I would order it again. The frito beans are fritos cheese and beans and I could of had a large bowl of those because they were delicious. And as you can see I ate it all.

Some of the best BBQ I’ve had! We got the platter that is $90 dollars and it fed 5 adults and two children. Brisket cut like butter, ribs fell off the bone, sausage was very tasty and the pulled pork was great.
