People there are lively, doesn’t feel isolated but the service is inconsistent and messy, girl at the front started mocking me over a cup of ice water all I did was ask if they charged “nothing is free here” well work for your review they pay you, be modest at the minimum

Food is good but they have horrible service, we got our drink order in and never came back to take our order, my mom had to get up and look for the lady to place an order and they take really long to serve the food, they need to hire more than 1 or 2 people to serve tables. It’s ridiculous

Food is EXCELLENT. I love their pupusas, esp. with eggs and crema for breakfast.
Make to leave plenty of time for food though. Even for to go orders, I normally have to wait about an hour for my meal to be ready. Time appropriately, the food is worth it!

The pupusas are absolutely amazing, as is the fermented cabbage. This is my Friday lunch spot, and I am always excited to go pick up my order.

Authentic Salvadoran food that hits every time. The pupusas are huge — like, you really only need two even if you think you want three. The mojarra frita, carne asada, and plantains with refried beans are all standouts. Portions are generous and prices are super affordable.
Expect a wait and some language barrier, and paying can be a little chaotic on busy days. But the food is worth the patience

Everyone has their own experiences but I don’t understand the negative reviews. Yes, it takes a few minutes longer to get your food here but that’s because the pupusas are cooked fresh, unlike some places that freeze them in bulk then reheat when you order. They taste great and the curtida is fresh!
I’m very picky with horchata and theirs is true Salvadoran horchata versus the Mexican horchata that I’ve had at a few restaurants that claim to be Salvadoran. There is a bit of a language barrier but the servers are very patient and kind.

I don't speak any Spanish, so communicating was a bit challenging. The menu is in Spanish only. But, I found the dining to be clean and the staff friendly. I ordered papusas to go and they were delicious and very reasonably priced. My only suggestion would be that they separate the papusas with paper because several of them stuck together.

Had ordered pupusas to go. On 3/13/26 around 4pm today 3/14/26 we had left overs so my daughter is eating one of her pupusas when get bites into it she thinks she bit a bone and was confused because it is suppose to only be bean and cheese! She bit into a small METAL HOOK! I called on 3/14/26 to speak with someone supervisor manager owner someone who is in charge apparently they didn't have anyone and to try tomorrow. I said ok what time tomorrow she said I don't know they don't have a time when they will be in. She didn't try to attempt to figure out or see if she could help me she brushed me off I said ok I will go ahead and just post it online thank you! And she said ok and hung up. That says it all they don't care so who knows what they put in the food and if they wash everything properly and are in code compliance with the city.
