The older population in my group could not hear the actors. I was bringing a group for a 50th Birthday and I emailed regarding bringing a cake and was responded to after the event. I bought the suspect package and the person I set up was not used as a suspect but used in a scene. Overall I would not do this again. It was also not clear on how to vote for the killer.

Definitely nothing upscale or fancy. Spotify music playing before the event and during breaks with loud commercials-I guess they can't afford a subscription-very cheap. Food wasn't good-mushy overcooked vegetables, dessert terrible. The actors were OK, probably hotel employees, food services not very polite when we asked for a plate to go with the rolls. I didn't understand the point of the questionnaire for guests to go around the room, QR codes were confusing too. Drinks-don't order an Old Fashion, stick to wine or beer.

My husband and I attended The Dinner Detective for our Valentines Day. We had a lot of fun. The players interacted with the audience and visa versa. Good script and great fun. Our table was right in front of the bar. It was hard to hear at times because the employees of the hotel were talking. I had to ask them quiet down. The meatballs with the sweet sauce was good before the show. The salad was ok. The chicken plate was good except for the brussel sprouts. Who decided brussel sprouts needs to change it. Desert was a chocolate cake. We both had a good time for it being our first mystery dinner.

I had a great time at The Dinner Detective. I was with a Bachelorette party and we all enjoyed the food and the show. I wasn't sure what to expect but it definitely exceeded my expectations. I was also super excited that I won and got the murder suspect right. 🕵️♀️

Our group of 8 enjoyed the performance however the actors needed microphones as when they spoke away from our side of the room it was difficult to hear/ understand them. The music in between scenes was very loud. Food was average. Bar was convenient with decent drinks.

The food was subpar. It definitely could've used a beef option. The chicken was dry and my husband's salmon was worse. The table set up was beautiful though. The drinks from the hotel bar were average but the bar inside the venue was great!! On the bright side, the show itself was awesome!! The characters were so lively. It would've been nice to use people throughout the room and not just in the center but other than that, it was very entertaining. We have agreed to try it again but in Dallas this time.

I recently attended the Murder Mystery Dinner in Fort Worth with a group from work, and unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. We ended up leaving about three-quarters of the way through the show, and it wasn't just us—our entire table had the same feeling. The production was very one-sided, with most of the interactions happening on the other side of the room, leaving our side feeling largely ignored.
Another big issue was the lack of accessibility. The event did not meet ADA standards, especially for those with hearing impairments. None of the actors used microphones, so half of our table couldn’t hear anything, which made it even harder to follow along with the plot. When the staff noticed us leaving, one of them came over and asked if we were okay. We told her we had to leave because of work, but honestly, the show just didn’t live up to expectations.
What was meant to be a fun team outing turned into a stressful experience, and we left feeling disappointed. It wasn’t engaging, it was hard to follow, and overall, it just wasn’t the enjoyable time we were hoping for. It’s really a shame because we were looking forward to it, but it didn’t deliver.
