Just not the same vibe as the original on Currie street. Food is ok but nothing special and service seems to depend on if your in the managers group of friends or not. Good bowl of chili. Thats the best I can say about Freds.

Absolutely loved this place! The burgers were amazing, the fries and onion rings were perfectly cooked, and the spicy ranch was next-level. Great tea, too! Our server Maddie was the best—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back.

We had our team holiday luncheon at Fred's a few weeks ago. The food was great and the Proces were reasonable. But the staff is what really made the difference.From the lady who greeted us at the front door and put up with my nonsense while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive to the waitress who put up with ALL of our shenanigans ( they don't let us out in public much) while providing excellent service. Thank you to Fred's and those two in particular. We will be back. Individually, I promise.

Larger group of 23. Orders came out very randomly and one very late. Two burgers ordered were pretty red when done-well done was requested.finally got waiters attn but most had finished. Manager we made reservation with quit and failed to put our reservation on the books. Fortunately we were following up. We were supposed to be in a fairly private room and wound up being seated just outside the bar area.

Daralyn was Awesome, the chicken fried steak was to die for, tender, good seasoning in the crust, and the gravy is the Bomb! Highly recommended. Note please put gravy on potatoes, and add Texas Toast!!!

Food was great! Some how our appetizer got messed up but the manager fixed it and the appetizer was on the house. Everyone working their was so nice and polite

The burgers here are amazing. We got the chips and queso and candied bacon. Both were good how ever chips were a little to crispy and the bacon had way way to much seasoning. Other than that it's a place I'd definitely go back.
