Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken

Ehhh. Like the world's greatest coffee from Seinfeld j/k. It was decent and reminds me of the fried chicken you get at a Chinese buffet, but spicier. The slaw was good.

First time trying this place out very customer friendly place. Good quality of chicken not overly greasy has the perfect consistency. I didn’t care for the sides too much but I’d still recommend you give this place a try.

I think the best thing on the menu were the baked beans which didn't look like more than a half cup, coleslaw and occasionally the chicken when it's not dry..I ordered a side order of fried okra that looked like a half of a cup for over $3.00 that wasn't worth the amount that I paid. I was disappointed in the serving size. Think I 'm done with them.

A group of 4 went. We ordered almost everything on the menu and enjoyed it all. I’ll be coming back to try a dessert 🥰

Gave Gus' world famous chicken a try for lunch. Wait staff was very good. Chicken wasn't all that great. A little too spicy for me. Everything else seems to be straight out of a can. Fried green tomatoes and okra were pretty good. Not bad but not worth the price. Like family reunion food that had been reheated. No place to park. Probably won't be back

I placed an order over the phone to go. The order was ready upon arrival, I'm from the original location, so I was hoping to gain similar taste. I ordered a three piece white dinner. The chicken was pretty good. The sides are not so much. The okra and fries were overly cooked and very bland. I would give them another try but order chicken only.

I only have 4 stars because the chicken strips were so big, but they were delicious. All of the sides were great and the service was excellent. We had a great server.

Good food, server was great.... but manager was rude and very unprofessional.
Not sure what happened to this place but they could start with hiring people in the kitchen that work with a sense of urgency when the restaurant gets busy
