TEXAS BBQ AT ITS BEST ! Don’t go crazy looking for a place close to the Stock Yards with great affordable bbq ! This is it ! Brisket ribs and even the turkey ( which i don’t usually like ) was delicious ! The Green chilli Mac and cheese is a must ! I have to shout out the worker Yugo ! This guy was all over the place . Cleaning - setting up tables - greeting customers - he even filled up the Minute Maid lemonade that was out ! Give this guy a raise asap . Is workers like him...
I got the bacon burnt ends and was quite disappointed. 1/4 lb. was 5 pieces and they were so dry (and hard) I could barely eat them. I got green beans and okra as my sides and they were a disappointing as the burnt ends. The green beans had an “off” flavor that I didn’t care for and the breading on the okra was soggy instead of crunchy like it should be. The burnt ends were fantastic, but everything else was just okay. It was something that we could reproduce at home or even do better.
Nothing was bad but most of the food we had was just okay.
