If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I ordered a 3 month tamale subscription for my husband's 40th birthday. I called on 3/6 to discuss time frame for shipping later in the month and was told a delayed shipment was possible and we discussed timeframe for day of shipment versus day of delivery so I could ensure they were received before his birthday. When they were not delivered the day anticipated, I called and was assured that orders to the east coast were mailed on Tuesday, so it should be delivered on friday (the next day). When they were not delivered on friday, I called Saturday morning and they "investigated" it. They called back and left a message saying that they had talked to my husband and he had agreed to them shipping february and march's orders together. My husband has never talked to them and since I ordered in March, there's no reason they would combine February and March. I then called again on Monday (today) and they now claim their staff had covid and they weren't able to ship out orders. Seems like they just can't get their lie straight. Don't order from their online store.

I ordered tamales and i didn’t get them when they were supposed to come so i wated several more days then i called and they would call me back so the next day i called back. Same thing happened again. They sure could find my bankto get their money. Well i finally got my tamales but not the full order i called to let them know I got my order but was short some and the phone rang then they hung up twice. No more of my business

The owner is incredible. Truly made the holiday season special.UPS lost our first package, and the owner was more than willing to work with us. These tamales are incredible and are a lil taste of home. Cheers!

I placed an order on 12/2/2022 and received a confirmation email. On 12/6/2022, I received an email that my order had shipped. But it hadn't. The UPS tracking information shows only that a label has been created. I tried emailing the company using the email address from the emails to me, which is the same email address on the website, but the email bounced back. I called the telephone number on the website six times, but each time it went straight to voice mail. I left a message, but no one has called me back. I used the form on the website to ask for more information, but four or five days later, no one has responded. The company has charged my bank account for the order.

It is closed, this place does not exist, travel 1 hour only for its vegetarian tamales and when you arrive, a closed place. I Call them, they only have cheese with chili, for shipping. I ended up having breakfast at 2pm in an ihop ? so far away from my house!!

I understand tamales take a lot of hard work and time and that is the reason I don't mind paying $10-$15 a dozen or more (if they are delicious). But, at this establishment, not worth the time or price, there is nothing special that would get me to go buy a dozen of tamales for around $24 once again. Now if there priced changed to $10, maybe.

Nothing these people say was true. Company advertises 2 day delivery if ordered by 3:00 PM M-W. Ordered on a Tuesday before 3:00 PM. Order did not ship until after 5:00 PM the next day and didn't arrive until the following Monday - 6 days from date of order, 5 days transit time. Six dozen tamales that were supposed to arrive frozen arrived thawed and warm. When I realized they were going to arrive thawed, I e-mailed them using the address they advertise in their e-mails and on their website. It's an invalid address and was kicked back twice on two different days. Then I tried their online form. "Someone will get back to you shortly!" said the message on their site after I clicked "submit." No one got back to me. Ever. After they arrived, I called and asked for refund, was assured I would have refund by Thursday (three days), and to call if I didn't receive it by then. Called back on Friday when no refund was received, this time was told "it takes a while." After 9 days, I had still not received a refund, and I called yet again. I was told they weren't at the store and computer and I would receive a call back in two hours. No one called me back. Ever. Opened a Paypal dispute, which allows a week. Paypal contacted them. They never responded to Paypal, either. Finally, I guess Paypal just took the money from them and I received my refund at the end of their wait period. Unbelievable how this place is still in business.

I did not enjoy these tamales at all. They were tasteless, grainy and dry.There was no flavor of meat. It was like saw dust. Worst tamales I have ever eaten sorry to say.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Their tamales are good but I'm not sure what their problem is.They appear to be running some sort of game by ripping folks off by shorting orders. when my order was short by half I sent an email and received no response and I was actually hung up on when I called by phone. Mind you I was being polite as I understand businesses are struggling at this time but by all appearances they know exactly what they are doing, and sad to say with their current practices they will run a good business into the ground. Even with COVID unethical behavior is unacceptable.
BIG WARNING HERE! I try to help struggling businesses by ordering delivery online, but really discouraged by this "company's" lack of caring and response to my shorted order. The tamales are teeny tiny and WAY overpriced. Bland and uninspired. I've had better tamales from the frozen section of my local grocer. I ordered two dozen online and only received one dozen. After multiple calls, messages and emails without any response I feel this is my only recourse to warn others about this SHAM company.
