Our family enjoyed several meals here while visiting Ft Worth! They have good pizza and nice salads. They even had gluten free calamari! Their brunch was great and no wait for a table!

This is the only restaurant where I’d prefer to be sat at the bar than at a table. The service is always immaculate. I don’t consider myself a social person, but I have thoroughly enjoyed sitting with the bartenders.

Fabulous authentic Italian food and great service. My guess is that the occasional poor reviews are from people who do not appreciate our understand true Italian food and dining experience. Or favorite Italian place in town.

The food is amazing and very close to what you'd get in Italy. Service was fantastic as well. We had a reservation and they were ready for us when we arrived. They also have a great selection of italian wines.
I am not sure why this place has a 4.1 because it definitely deserves a 5 out 5. The service was perfect and I was recommended the Braised Short Rib, the BEST choice!!! My husband had the calamari for appetizer and the linguine with steak it was great too! But please get the short rib because it was AMAZING!!!!

We ordered the lasagna, it was the worst I've ever eaten. We will not return.

The lasagna was not very good and very dry. Honestly disappointed in the service and food. I'll go somewhere different next time for sure.
As a last-minute option, this was an amazing Thanksgiving dinner. The staff was so nice. I didn't feel awkward as a one person table, and I even got to speak with a manager and touch bases with the bartenders as everyone had a hand in touching my table when you spend the holidays alone, sometimes it can be quite lonely, but you don't realize how much you enjoy human contact until you are met with people who are equally as kind. As somebody who used to work in the restaurant industry I saw that it was a bit slower than usual due to it being the end of the night and was hoping that my food will come out hot and ready when it did hit the table. I could tell that it had been under the heat for no more than maybe three minutes but enough for the gravy to conceal a little bit and the stuffing to get a bit crispy., working in the restaurant industry as both a sous chef and a server I knew this wasn't any foul play as it was just the result of me coming a bit later towards the end of the night for people who are human beings as well that are ready to get home to families and eat their own home-cooked meals Thank you Il modo staff for being available to cater to those is in need with no plans and no family this holiday season! You guys were very kind and upstanding and I hope you do well for the next holidays coming up
Went to il Modo for Thanksgiving. Service was good, even though our server forgot to order our appetizer. Three of us had the Thanksgiving Dinner which was decent. Soup was the best thing we had all night. The main course was disappointing though. The other party member that ordered pasta was delighted. His pasta tasted absolutely delicious. Dessert was also disappointing. We had the pumpkin pie and it had not much flavor. So I will try to go back and try the pasta.

Really liked this place. The burratta was different but a good twist on a classic. I could have done without the sauce on the filet. The gnocchi was excellent and the flat breads were awesome.

Worst experience. Got the linguine which was a terrible attempt at making carbonara because the eg was sitting on top of the pasta. Dear god please don’t give me salmonella. They said this is how it’s served during breakfast which probably means that the sauce they use has been premade that morning it was 6:30 when we arrived. Ordered chicken on top. Looked ok but was cold through the middle, straight out of the fridge. Probably that mornings chicken and not wanting to waste food serving it at night. Truly the laziest kitchen in the world. Complained and proceeded to get gaslit by the manager and waitress. Telling me it’s not cold and from the fridge. It’s really sad if they would just admit they are taking shortcuts and being lazy about their product use I wouldn’t be so mad. I’d understand that better then trying to make it sound as if I can’t tell the difference between cold and hot
