As a last-minute option, this was an amazing Thanksgiving dinner. The staff was so nice. I didn't feel awkward as a one person table, and I even got to speak with a manager and touch bases with the bartenders as everyone had a hand in touching my table when you spend the holidays alone, sometimes it can be quite lonely, but you don't realize how much you enjoy human contact until you are met with people who are equally as kind. Went to il Modo for Thanksgiving. Service was good, even though our server forgot to order our appetizer. Three of us had the Thanksgiving Dinner which was decent. Soup was the best thing we had all night. The main course was disappointing though. The other party member that ordered pasta was delighted. His pasta tasted absolutely delicious. Dessert was also disappointing. We had the pumpkin pie and it had not much flavor. So I will try to go back and try the pasta.
We went on a Saturday night, and that's probably is why service was slow. There were just too many issues for me to give a review over 3 stars. The kitchen ran out of the appetizer we ordered. After choosing another appetizer, we didn't see our waitress for 20 minutes. It was noisier than I expected as the hotel advertised it as a romantic restaurant.
