Kyle, our server was one of a kind! Came down for a work group trading and went out last min with 6 guys.

They managed to squeezed us in with now reservation. Excellent service and explanation of the menu. Even better food. Courses were great! Highly recommend.

Amazing restaurant with wonderful atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We tried the bison, incredibly juicy and flavorful. Also loved the rabbit sausage and the blue corn lobster hushpuppies. Everything was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Definitely a memorable dining experience and a great place to enjoy unique Texas cuisine

Quick trip to Fort Worth and tried this restaurant! It was amazing! The only drawback was it was noisy and we couldn’t hear our waiter or have a conversation. Not sure if it’s always like that. I had the Montana Bison Ribeye!

We were recommended to try this place for it's steak. The server was in a hurry to take our order and we felt very rush as we did not know where to start ordering. She was getting flustered with us. The food was good but had to send a steak back as it was not cooked properly and still raw when we asked for medium well. When our water was poured it splashed all over us no big deal but no sorry said after the plashed my husband. Then when we got the bill my husband was just going to pay with out looking and I just happen to reviewed it and we had another tables bill that was $200 more than our bill. Told the waitress and she just said my bad. So our first experience was something else as what we hoped.

One of the absolute best dining experiences in the Stockyards — full stop. The lobster hush puppies, elk slider, and rabbit-rattlesnake sausage are must-orders for the adventurous eater, and the steaks are cooked to perfection — people are comparing them favorably to Del Frisco's and Capital Grille. The truffle mac and cheese, jalapeño cucumber margarita, and ancho chile chocolate cake are all incredible.
Yes it's pricey but every penny is earned. Oscar and the rest of the staff are warm, knowledgeable, and make the whole evening feel special. A true Fort Worth bucket list restaurant

Came for lunch with a group of 5- they sat us right away. We had drinks and a few things off the lunch menu- the burger was the best burger I’ve ever had! So cheesy, so yummy. We had many cocktails, they were all so delicious. We had two people simultaneously waiting on us which was sweet and you could tell they cared about their patrons.

Shanya made our dinner at Lonesome Dove absolutely fantastic. Her recommendations were spot‑on, and she was incredibly helpful throughout the entire meal. She made us feel taken care of without being overbearing, and her knowledge of the menu really elevated the whole experience. Because of her, dinner wasn’t just great food—it was a great experience. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Shanya again!

Great place to experience the charm of the Texas stockyard. Service was excellent and attentive. Regarding food overall great but could be better for a Tex steak restaurant. Cuts too fatty. The appetizer wild game fettine was great but could be elevated with a crunch, lite cracker and a possible sweet pepper jalapeño sauce on the side would have gone great with the meat slices.
Otherwise great atmosphere and food!

I have been there twice and had the prime rib, salmon and a cheeseburger. The first two items were better. But I really appreciate the Tim Love concept of dining in The Stockyards.
