Outstanding meal, great service, and my wife and I had a great time. Be aware though it is a loud place. We will still definitely go back, but a quite place it is not.

Ate at the bar. Great! With only exception the bar stools are too short.

Two stars because the bar and the food were good. When I eat in a good restaurant I like to order appetizers, then see where dinner takes me. I don’t want to be rushed into my meal. They have a policy of requiring you to order all courses before they will give the order to the kitchen. I can see how this affects their efficiency but it does it at the expense of the customers experience. Dinner for two with drinks at the bar ahead of time and tips was well over $500.00. This was not a 500$ experience.
Great old fashioned, excellent service, and the steaks were spot on. The sides, especially the mac n’ cheese, didn’t quite meet expectations, but overall still a solid dining experience.

We’re big fans but tonight was a serious disappointment. An hour in, we got our starters, our waiter delivered the wrong cocktail and couldn’t be bothered most of the night. We had to engage management to get salads and when the steaks were delivered one of them was not done to order, sent back and came back too rare a second time.
Beyond this, if you want to look and feel like Texas Roadhouse, with tank tops, ball caps and women in very tight cut off shorts and tank tops, lower your price point. When people pay these prices, we pay for an experience. Get and enforce a dress code if you want to be the upscale Texas experience you once were and when you have tables shouting and cursing, address it.

Many years ago I had the privilege of dining at lonesome dove in its early times. I enjoyed my experience, the cozy atmosphere and the food was excellent. I recently returned, and my impression was less than positive
The first thing I noticed was that in spite of their dress code, people arrived dressed in shorts and tank tops, looking generally like street people. I found this disappointing. However, I still liked the physical appearance of the restaurant, but, It was the most expensive restaurant in which I have dined since I was in Paris. This is okay as long as you understand that it is a high-priced gathering place. But I had an 8 oz tenderloin, that cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $65, Was physically small, not particularly tender and overcooked. I am sure the $250 or $400 version would have been much better. Because of the brick walls, metal ceiling and tile floor the noise level was somewhere around the level of a jet engine. Our waiter (happy to report a true professional) did the best he could over the din, but could not be understood. I might go back for a drink as I really liked their bar, but I think I will pass on dinner and wish my best to Tim Love.

Our 44th Anniversary would not have been as special if not for the Lonesome Dove experience. The Exquisite and diverse menu along with the exceptional service made our special night memorable. This place has so much to offer and delivers an unforgettable moment. Our waiter Mooie was fantastic.

Let me start by saying this is the first restaurant review I have ever written. Ok, been here once years ago, it was good, maybe great!
Came back with reservations for my 50th celebration 1 week back, atmosphere was great! However, our waiter was on the pushy side and apps were ok, a bit dry. Excited for the Tomahawk Wagyu Ribeye, they’re out, ok no blame, I’m a big boy, suggested a large T-Bone, said “it’s fabulous,” I agreed to sub it, same price, questionable at the Wagyu price. I couldn’t even eat it, flavor was really bad, gamey and tough. My guest received suggestions instead of what they actually ordered and for me that’s was the most upsetting part as these are close old friends. For this place to be a Fort Worth gem, I felt I could depend on for a special delivery, they failed with flying colors!
