My son got food poisoning from Lucile’s last night.
The lobster and steak and fried green tomatoes. first time visiting, and my husband and I are coming back. Excellent service. keep up the great customer service. WE LOVE IT! 😋😋
My family took me tonight for Mother’s Day celebration. The food was fantastic. The stuffed mushrooms and goat cheese appetizers were amazing. The chicken fried steak was so good. I see why it was voted best in FW. Margaritas were quite good. The server we had was not good. We were there 16 minutes and had to flag someone down. Then he was one of the worst servers I have had. Lucile's is a long-standing, fine, and enjoyable dining experience that remains a Fort Worth landmark. The menu features delicious, memorable, and creatively prepared items, including classics like lobster bisque and chicken fried steak, while also rotating in new dishes each year. The service is generally exceptional, with the wait staff being friendly and attentive, even when the restaurant is extremely busy. Lucile's is a great place for various occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, date nights, family reunions, work lunches, and afterwork gatherings. While the atmosphere can be noisy and sometimes uncomfortably warm, especially on busy nights, the fantastic food and overall experience make Lucile's a highly recommended dining destination. The chicken fried steak is a comfort favorite done to perfection, and the side Caesar salad is noted as one of the best. However, experiences can vary, as some guests have reported issues with specific dishes like the lobster roll and crab cakes. Reservations are advised, especially during peak times, as the restaurant can get packed, and guests should expect attentive service, though there can be occasional lapses.
