Nana's Kitchen Reviews
I've been employed with Nana's since June and it's been nothing but joy. I've been in the service industry since 2011 and I can't think of a better place that has treated me like FAMILY!! The team working here is the FAMILY!! The customers who dine at Nana's Kitchen are the FAMILY!! The atmosphere is energetic (live DJ on weekends) and the food will keep you coming back for more. I am absolutely hooked on the black eye peas, greens, pinto beans and Mac and cheese!! Don't get me...read full review

I paid 5.40 for velveeta. I have never had dry/ wet velveeta that leaves a horrible aftertaste in your mouth.

Nana's Kitchen offers some of the best food with generous portions that make the prices worthwhile. This take-out only restaurant features a variety of delicious dishes, including catfish filet, turkey neck boil, rosemary chicken, chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and sweet cornbread. The sweet potatoes are a standout, described as "divine." Customers praise the food for being great and flavorful, with Nana clearly knowing what she is doing. Many visitors drive long distances, especially for the fried catfish, which is highly recommended. The inside has been remodeled and now has a nice atmosphere, although some feel the staff could be more welcoming with more smiles. The food consistently impresses, and the staff are attentive, making it a place customers want to visit again and recommend to others. Despite ongoing construction of the dining room, the flavorful and tender dishes make Nana's Kitchen a must-try for those seeking Southern comfort food. Recent reviews highlight the generous portions, especially the huge and delicious Smothered Pork Chops, with outstanding cabbage and cornbread. Customers also mention the humble and kind owner, as well as her son, the chef, who delivers soul food that exceeds expectations. While some experienced a longer wait due to being short-staffed, the overall experience remains very positive.
