Who'da thunk it!?

On a rinky-dink anonymous exit way the hell west of Ft. Worth, we found a restaurant inside this gas station that serves up some of the juiciest burgers with crisp lettuce and red ripe tomatoes on a perfectly toasted bun.

I tried this place for the 1st time looking for a really good burger. The reviews and online photos sold me and I went. The fries were great. Poppers good. But the burger was less than expected. The burger was cooked on "fry" grill vs a charcoal outdoor type grill as the charred photos imply. It was similar to any fast food type burger. Disappointed.

Hole in the wall gas station and burger joint. The burgers used to be very highly recommended some years ago but not sure they are now? I cringe at how long I might have waited ta burger at 5pm as it seemed like there was only one guy there running around waiting on everyone. Pumps are new(er), it is a nice "in and out" for gas even during 5pm rush hour. They do take Kroger fuel points which is a bonus. Good selection of drinks. Inside is in bad need of an upgrade.
