“I went with the 6oz fillet with a fried egg and chimichurri sauce. It was delicious. For sides we got the creamed spinach, fries and Brussels spots - absolutely delicious. We tried a few of their desserts but the olive oil cake was by far our favorite. This place is great for groups. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating.“

“We have been to Whiskey Cake numerous times, and all times have been a positive experience. Today, was above and beyond a typical dining experience! First off, my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this location provided a classy and calm ambiance. Our waiter Joe was fun, knowledgeable, and you can tell he overall has impeccable work ethic. Since it was our anniversary we splurged and ordered the charcuterie board… we will do this going forward. This board was eclectic and bougie in a positive way. The chicken melt did not disappoint and the ingredients were fresh! But when I say the in-house whiskey cake blew us away… I’ve never tasted anything like it. We will be back! Thanks again Joe!“

“We hosted our Partner Appreciation Event at Clay Pigeon yesterday and had the most amazing experience. Leslie was a dream to work with and did everything to ensure a smooth event. She checked in periodically throughout the evening and was swift to take care of anything we needed. The waitstaff was incredibly professional, kind, over the top accommodating. “We had the best experience this weekend at Bonnell’s. Long story short we don’t go out to eat because my son has a lot of food allergies and it’s not easy to accommodate them. However it was his 13th birthday so we really wanted to celebrate. The chef worked with me prior to coming in and made sure my kiddo was able to have a wonderful and safe meal to celebrate a huge milestone. All of the staff were sweet and thoughtful as well. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm. I’m happy to forever brag on this restaurant!“

“Made a reservation. Was greeted as soon as we walked in the door. It was a chilly day and the hostess chose a table close to the heater without us having to ask. Very thoughtful. Server was attentive and friendly. Food is always very good. Ambiance at this location is nice, next to the trinity river and near shopping.“

“WOWWWWW. Our first time here last night and it’s my new favorite restaurant. There was a wait but we just grabbed a drink and waited. Ordered skillet Mac and cheese to start WHEWWW!!! It was so delicious. I ordered the petite filet with jalapeño potatoes which were unreal. My partner had the chicken parm.
Our server, Will, was sweet and attentive. Everyone that works there really works as a team which is so refreshing to see.

“We got "So Lucky" coming across "Rodeo Goat" heard the music outside we knew we were at the right place! the atmosphere is neatly rustic, the servers so attentive & fun & the food was excellent with such hefty portions that we required a to go box. food so scrumptious that later in our room made another great meal. all at a reasonable price. highly recommend“

“My wife and I LOVE Velvet Taco! We were so excited to find out they were opening up a location near where we lived, and have been there a few times since it opened!

On this particular occasion, we forgot to make a small change to our order, and they gave us a whole new taco once we made the adjustment free of charge!

Also, when we were finishing our meal, one of the managers, I think her name is Gabbie, personally introduced herself and gave us a piece of Velvet Cake free of charge!

We love Velvet Taco, but the service from the awesome staff tonight deserved a great review! We are forever fans!“

“We were lucky enough to get a table for 3 at 6:30 on a Saturday night. I believe our servers name was Rudy (sorry if that's not right). Anyways he was great explaining the menu, his favorites, and popular dishes. We went with the gargonzola fries and the apricot brie with pita. Loved the fries but wish the cheese was spread out more over the fries. Only half the fries were topped which led to half just being normal waffle fries. Great taste and idea but execution could be a little better. I did not care for the brie but I'm not a fan of that. The rest of the table loved it so I would have to day it was good. Lol. I had the poblano burger for my entree. They cook it well done so I was worried but it was juicy and tasted very good. It was actually better than I expected! It also was served with fries. Washed it all down with the German pilsner which was really good and refreshing as well. Service was top notch and the pace of the meal was perfect. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back to try other dishes.“

“We hosted our rehearsal dinner at City Works Eatery and Pour House. Honestly nothing but great things from the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, and the staff. Colleen was so helpful throughout the planning process and she even came by on event day! They were flexible with us with possible rain on event day, but it all worked out perfect with the heaters on the patio. It was such a great evening thanks to the amazing team they have at City Works Clearfork! They made us feel like it was a small family dinner with hot meals and endless drinks while serving 100 of our guests. The team was professional, personable, and kind. I couldn't recommend more. We had a blast.“

“Just left and will never go back. Ordered a burger and didn’t realize until I had eaten several bites that a large portion in the middle was totally raw. Not just undercooked a little - totally raw. I chose to not send it back as I had consumed some of it but saved it to show the waitress. When she told the manager, the manager blamed her ( the waitress). I then spoke to the manager and she would not listen and kept insisting it was the waitress who was responsible. She talked right over me, and was downright nasty.She admitted she didn’t bother to look at the burger. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was not asking for anything just explaining it was not the waitress’ fault that the kitchen didn’t cook the burger. The waitress was very concerned and apologized. She did an excellent job of customer service.“

“We arrived on this Friday night and my hopes were dashed a little when we had to park in a muddy parking lot next to the restaurant. All that disappeared the minute we walked inside. You’re transformed into not just a restaurant but an experience. They had the best blues band playing but not so loud you couldn’t talk. Then the sweetest hostess took us right to our booth. As we walked thru the restaurant we noticed families and patrons of all ages. They were met Emeline who was quite possibly the best server we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. So sweet, personable and guided us thru our entire night of beers, appetizers and main dish. We will always ask to sit in her section when we come back. So the beer selection is large and don’t forget to ask for tastes. They are very friendly with letting you try before purchasing one. I happened to love the Hoofer’s Hef which is a great aromatic Hefeweizen. We started with two apps. The BLTA dip which comes out with crisp and delicious pita triangles and this unbelievable cheesy dip that is out of this world good. We also had the Brussels sprouts and I’m quite the expert on good Brussels. These were by far the best Brussels I’ve had EVER! No kidding they were cooked perfectly and even had cranberries in there that gave it a little extra push to perfection. After seeing all the pizza around us we opted to split the Carnivore of Love. It was awesome! All those meats on top and the crust was so good. Only thing wished for was a little stiffer crusted underneath to hold it up. So we had to eat with a fork. It was cooked though so not complaining. Every Friday and Saturday they have blues bands that play. We loved that it wasn’t too loud like some places where you can’t even talk. This is our new favorite date night spot. So many things on the menu I we want to try and absolutely loved the atmosphere they had on this Friday night! BIG WIN!!🏆“

“Went to early Friday breakfast. Food is very good. We were only people in restaurant at the time. Although manager, maybe the owners were in restaurant, yet no one stopped by to say hello or check on us. We were just a couple of people who they seemed to care nothing about. Lots of staff just lingering around. Not a good vibe.“

“today is December 6, 2023 at 12:15 PM. I came to this location to eat a Philly cheese sandwich and french fries and drink a Coke. It was $15. The Philly cheese sandwich was very small and the meat was dried out and it had a weird taste to it. I don’t know if it was a seasoning or wet and the french fries were kind of yellowish and they put too much pepper on the fries, it was not worth the $15 that I paid but they were very nice. It’s two Hispanic ladies that work there. They serve breakfast from 6 o’clock in the morning until 10 and then they start lunch and they close early.“

“Great place for breakfast and the staff is wonderful. The food truck had not come in today so they were missing a lot of ingredients, but they were accommodating with what they had to work with and shared up front those missing items. What perplexes us, just not here, but the restaurants that charge for a little round thing of peanut butter. We were charged $.75 for the peanut butter but the jelly was free. They are both spreads and should be included in the price of a meal. Some places charge as high as $2 for the little plastic thing of peanut butter. Otherwise, good as usual. The other downside is lack of parking. The sign said complimentary parking for Paris customers and I entered the information in that was asked for.. ended up not being complimentary, but $7.50 making breakfast for 2 almost $60.“

“Appetizers were awesome!!! Service was really slow w/ many excuses! Didn’t like the fact that if you were in a group, you could not pay individually even w/ a credit card, you had to figure out how to use 4 cards within the group to pay for all items! Not cool!!!“

“We reserved a party room for a Bridesmaid's luncheon last Friday. Reata does an A+ job. Working with McKynlea was a delight. We chose a limited menu, including several delicious gluten free choices. She sent me a sample menu ahead of time for my approval. Carae was our waitress and did an exceptional job. We also had a table in the main dining room for half a dozen of the husbands who insisted on coming to have the special tamales, and bison burgers! They too loved the food and had excellent service. I cannot recommend Reata more highly. We live several hours from Ft Worth, and are looking for more opportunities to come again! Thank you Reata staff for adding to our wedding celebration. We are grateful.“

“Fort Worth Top golf seems to have the rudest people working for them . Our server was not clear on anything and told us last call on food and drinks when I was not last call the place didn’t close for another 2 hours.“
