Came in with my parents for a Hickory Burger and a couple of Chicken Fried Steaks. Ended up taking it to go due to circumstances beyond No Frills control. Service was good. They aren't going to make the cover of Texas Monthly with that Chicken Fried Steak, but itbwas good and the portions are generous. Don't be afraid of the Spicy Pintos, they aren't intense. White gravy was exactly the texture you want for this kind of meal. Overall, a good experience.

Love this place. Food is great and well priced. Beer wall is high, not just latest flash in the pan stuff. E.g. Coors Banquet and Pacifico on same wall.
Went in said seat yourself...sat there 20 min no service asked after 20 min..saot they would be right there watched them wait on people who came in after us...still no acknowledgement after another 1o min just left...never will go there again..

NFG is our go-to spot for a quick, fast meal that doesn't feel like fast food. They do a fairly good job, but can be hit it miss with quality sometimes. Nothing deal breaking. Great place to eat!
