Our service was great and our server Steven was top notch. He was friendly, courteous, and quick to answer any question we had on the menu. My husband and I were celebrating our 40th anniversary and Steven made sure our dinner and table service was perfect. Very happy to have had celebrated our anniversary dinner at Pappadeux.

The restraunt is infested with roaches

We were extremely disappointed with our latest dining experience. We ordered the seafood platter for the first time and were impressed by how good the platter looked but were disappointed in how unseasoned everything tasted. We also ordered an extra side of red beans and rice. When the dish arrived it was lukewarm at best. The atmosphere was not conducive to our expectations and the piped-in music made the experience even worse. The best thing I had was a large Three Wheel Motion and the bread and butter. As a content creator and reviewer I enjoy taking beautiful pictures and can make any food appear appetizing so don't be fooled by my first two images.

I came on Saturday 9/27 and sat at the bar by myself and was unacknowledged for over 15 minutes . So embarrassing i ended up order gumbo and not what i originally went for, i had to get up and find the manager myself just to get service , i just felt invisible and wanted to leave but i was hungry

We waited 55 minutes for drinks then waited another 35 minutes for food. Our server completely forgot about us. A table right next to us left before they got their food. We talked to the manager who didnt even apologize. It was unacceptable behavior for a pricey meal. As people who have worked in the food industry for years .....the managers lack of response was shocking. Wasted time and money. Zero stars....we won't be back.

Wonderful, restruant with a large amount of seating. Our server was extremely kind and checked on us several times. The food is amazing! Definitely worth the drive and money for a lovely romantic meal.

Our server did a great job and really took care of us, so none of this reflects on him. The issues were with the food. My steak was ordered medium-rare plus but came out much closer to rare. My daughter’s catfish was overseasoned to the point of being spicy, and while the second one was better, it came out several minutes after the rest of us had finished eating. My wife’s salmon was also burnt on the bottom.

Normally, I would have asked for these items to be handled right away, but since we were celebrating a birthday, I didn’t want to dampen the experience by sending multiple dishes back. Considering how much we paid for the meal, having several items not turn out as expected was disappointing and definitely affected the overall experience.

We visited before a concert at Dickey’s Arena. We were greeted and seated right away. The Burst of Paradise cocktail was delicious. Our food came out quickly and was very good. I would rate it four stars, however, our server, Simon, was incredible. He was polite, courteous, knowledgable, helpful and prompt. Excellent service and we will definitely return.

Pappadeaux is our favorite. Always had a hard time passing up their ginger glazed grilled salmon. It was consistently top notch. But it’s been removed from the menu. So today I tried the grilled salmon, lemongrass-ginger seared shrimp, charred Chinese broccoli and white rice. They recommend medium rare for the salmon and I agree that’s the way to eat. The ginger glazed salmon was prepared the same way and it is succulent. I’ve never had charred Chinese broccoli. For some reason this entree tasted very salty to me. I must admit that my wife and I have really cut salt out of our diet and have done so for several years. So my palate may be extra sensitive to salt. My server had them prepare me another serving. It was still a little salty for my taste. But the salmon was cooked perfectly and I will try it again on another visit. Marco, my server, did comp my meal; which was a generous thing to do. I did bring about one half of my meal home and warmed it up for supper. It was delicious and the salmon was still succulent.

If I could leave a negative I would!!!! We have been here many times and service has been 5 star!!! This time was the worst ever we had reservations for 6 they forgot about us!! We finally got seated and waited another 30 mins before anyone even acknowledged us. I had to go find the manager and still service was the worst. So disappointed with this place and management. Last thing the restaurant and bathrooms where disgusting.
