Pollos Asados El Canelo Stockyards

Horrible horrible food! The worst chicken I have ever had pollo regio is 1000 times better and when I ask for new pieces they told me that the kitchen said that it just looks bad but doesn’t taste bad. It was hard and dry and my meet was burnt and hard as well. I will never return to this establishment. Nothing how the pictures look like and nothing how the TikTok videos make it seem!

I always come here and the food is great. Service today was not like the usual especially since all of us are entertained with the FIFA World Cup matches. I had made a call on phone and 20 minutes later I arrived to pick up my order. The ladies in the front inform me that they had barely enter my order to be prepared. Wasted about 10 minutes for my food to come out. Which I’m not mad about but I also had priorities to head home as fast as possible that’s why I had placed an order on the phone beforehand.

I hope orders get placed on time and not waste costumers time but it’s understandable. Thankfully the waitresses and ladies at the front counter at main st. are much more professional and attentive to the customers than the ones at seminary that usually have an attitude.

I come from Dallas to eat here because it’s always so good. I wish they open a location in Dallas soon. The chicken and flautas are bomb.

I called to complain to the manager about my food. I told her that the macaroni salad was spoil and she have the never not to believe me that the macaroni wasn't any good.she told me to bring the food back and that she had to smell it. I don't recommend this to nobody. The chicken was so dry. I don't appreciate that she didn't believe me on what I was telling her.

Chicken dry and the macaroni salad was spoiled

Solid food here. Chicken is well cooked, not greasy at all!! The bean soup and salad are great. Onion is the bomb .. a bit oily but worth it. The ladies are super friendly and helpful.
