Went for late lunch with my friend, my first time visit. Ordered Goat Biryani and Chicken Biryani. It took very long time for our food. Quality of the food was not good at all, left most of the food on the plate 🫤

Went New Sona restaurant today @ Rufe Snow Fw . Omg ! Got amazed with their food . It was so yummy . We had Mutton biryani , chicken boti kabab , Shami kabab . All of them were so good . The price was so reasonable too . After food we had masala chai . It was amazing too . Love to go back there . Employees were very friendly .
I have read the reviews of this restaurant but I think that was for old owner. They have new owner & new Employee. Must try atleast once . Food was out of the world

I ordered from Sona Restaurant and Grocery and really enjoyed the food. The chicken tikka kebab was tender and flavorful, and the butter naan was soft and fresh. The chicken biriyani was the highlight for me—aromatic, well-spiced, and packed with plenty of chicken. The rice had that perfect balance of heat and fragrance without being greasy. Overall, a solid spot for good Indian food—I’d definitely order again.

I find it extremely dishonest and shady business to name this place such a close name to the one in this space prior to try and trick customers. I will never buy from here for that reason. It ALMOST tricked me but thankfully I realized it when I searched google maps more thoroughly and the REAL Sana that is amazing is further west just a little down the road on Watauga Blvd. Long time (almost 20 years) customer here if the real one, not this fraud.
If you’re looking for delicious, flavorful, savoring food and affordable. This is the place!!

I was very disappointed with my meal. I found a small silver wire in the beef curry/daal fry, which was quite concerning. The kheer was the worst I’ve had anywhere — made with the wrong type of rice, undercooked, and extremely dry, just soaked in a little milk and saffron water. It also lacked sweetness, as if no sugar was added at all. Overall, a very poor experience.
