Second Rodeo is an amazing venue with the kindness most welcoming staff ever!!! Tucked away in the heart of the stockyards, you will fall in love with the friendly and amazing atmosphere!!!

Not an authentic honky tonk, but definitely a fun place! It's clean, safe, and pleasant. You can get food and drinks at not too high of a price. It isn't cheap but not outrageous, either. The yard is the main draw.

Music and vibes are a solid 5 star. But the cocktails (at least the six I've tried) are extremely and aggressively bad.

Do not get a cocktail. Do not get a mixed drink (their G&Ts are also shockingly bad.). Maybe try a beer if you are not a beer snob. They are drinkable. I cannot recommend the food (haven't tried it) but maybe give that a go.

Also go to the bathroom for some giggles.
