I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years with my family—it’s one of our favorite spots. The food has always been consistently delicious, and this recent visit was no exception. We brought our kids for the first time, and they loved everything from the appetizers to dessert. It’s such a comforting feeling to see a place you’ve always enjoyed still delivering great quality and taste.
That said, the one major downside this time was how hot it was inside. The AC clearly wasn’t working, and it made the entire dining experience uncomfortable. We were sweating through most of the meal, and it was tough on the kids especially. A restaurant with food this good deserves a comfortable environment for its guests, and getting the air conditioning fixed should be a priority.
We’ll definitely be back—just hoping next time it’s a bit cooler inside!

I don’t care how good the sushi might be, Sushi Axiom was absolutely unbearable today. I walked in with my kids hoping for a nice lunch, but instead we were hit with a wave of stifling, stagnant heat. The AC was clearly broken, and no one said a word or offered any apology.
It felt like a sauna inside, and sitting there trying to enjoy a meal with two overheated, cranky kids in the Texas summer heat was a nightmare. Completely unacceptable. If your air conditioning isn’t working in the middle of a Texas summer, close the doors until it’s fixed. Fix your AC or stop seating guests. Simple as that.

Got shoved in the back empty room next to the bathroom while there was a half empty restaurant. Food was mostly rice and vegetables for nearly $100

I took off one star because they don't take tap to pay. I hope the manager reads this and gets their payment system updated. Food was delicious and service was great.

Music is absolutely horrible. I wanted to hide from my work for a minute and have a nice lunch and the music was too hip hoppy and stressful for me. Not relaxing at all!

I had hoped for more. Unfortunately we were seated where the bartender was our waiter and server. Not his fault. Tons of people working, most clueless with no sense of urgency. Our food was good and our bartender did the best he could. Just be careful with your expectations!!

We have been coming here for years. The sushi here is always fresh and the everything here - food and drinks - is reasonably priced. The squid and seaweed salads are worthy of note as well. Have never had a bad meal here. The service here is always very good, too.

We use to come here all the time and it was amazing. Last night the food was not edible. I ordered noodles and my beef was mushy and the noodles were flavorless. My husband ordered fried rice and it tasted like peanut butter. My son ordered fried chicken, it was dry and it tasted like perfume.

The spicy tuna & crab nachos DELISH!
Ahi tuna entree was very good too. If you don't like sweet sauce ask for it on the side.
Fried rice was tasty but I have yet to fine a really good fried rice.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I had dinner at Sushi Axiom last week, and what started as a normal evening turned into one of the most disgusting dining experiences I’ve ever had. About halfway through eating a bowl of noodles, I noticed something unusual buried beneath the noodles. To my horror, it was a *baby cockroach* — fully intact and clearly cooked with the dish.
I immediately called over the server, expecting shock. Instead, the response was disturbingly casual. They didn’t seem the least bit concerned that I had just eaten from a dish contaminated with an insect. This isn’t just poor service — it’s a serious health hazard. I can’t believe a restaurant can operate with such low hygiene standards.
Needless to say, I will never return. I strongly suggest others think twice before eating here — if a cockroach made it onto my plate, who knows what’s happening in that kitchen.
Strong drinks and great sashimi!
