Cake was not good, we ordered a cake for my daughters birthday . The cake tasted more like sugar than cake

I really didn’t want to leave this review since I adore Susie. I stop by very frequently as a sugarholic & man I’m so disappointed.
Everything has been stale for months.
My whoopie pie was rock solid.
Next visit my Cookie had no give & just crumbled.
Recently as of 2026 I stopped by again & got my birthday cake it was STALE.
The moisture from the icing has already seeped into the cake. The icing just completely separated from the cake. It was so dried out.
That was the slice that turned my stomach.
The cupcakes are hardly ever stale. I’m sure they get sold more often but still..

Donate or trash the stale stuff, stop being cheap.

Giving 3 stars because the employees were absolutely incredible and so kind, but unfortunately it was my first time and the vanilla confetti birthday cake slice was super stale :( it was disappointing. However, I will definitely be back to try something else because I’ve heard great things about this place.

I had stopped by to pick up some cake yesterday and a lovely associated named Renee helped me with my order. I mentioned that the last time I had picked up some marble cake, the bottom part of the cake was dry and she thanked me for my feedback, so she could take it back to the baker. She then proceeded to not charge me for the couple of slices of cake - if this is not top notch customer service, I don't know what else is !! All they wanted was to have the customer be satisfied and happy with their products. Lifetime customer here thanks to Renee !

I got cupcakes to go from here while in town for a concert, and they were so delicious! I got one that was coconut, and one that was a vanilla base. I definitely plan to come back next time I am nearby. Staff was nice and everything looked delicious!

Got 4 flourless peanut butter cookies and a peanut butter sandwich cookie they were so incredibly salt they were not good and the price of the cookies is not cheap. I have never gotten anything bad from Susie cakes until yesterday 11/29 very disappointed my daughter said they tasted bad as well

How can I get ahold of this place? I called the number and it immediately hangs up like it’s out of service. I ordered cupcakes and wanted to change my order from pickup to delivery. I emailed and it bounced back. I called at multiple different times too and all didn’t go through.

I got to try their cupcakes and cookies from the TGTG app. They were all so decadent and tasty!My favorites were the cookies and chocolate cupcakes I received. The chocolate cupcakes were so rich, and usually I hate icing, but the icing was so good.

The cookies were amazing, so buttery. I didn’t know cookies could taste better than they already do. 😆

The staff was very accommodating, addressing me after they were done with the previous customer while some others were looking at cake options and asked if I wanted a bag to which I declined. Definitely wanna head back again, so tasty. 🤤

When we walked in we were greeted by a friendly staff. The place was clean and organized. I got a snickerdoodle which was soft and yummy! The rest was not so great.
The vanilla cupcake with strawberry icing: cupcake was dry and the icing was way too sweet but to their credit it did taste like strawberry. The vanilla cupcake with the pink icing for breast cancer was dry and flavorless. The chocolate cupcake was also dry, it had peanut butter icing with chocolate sprinkles but it did taste like peanut butter. I also got a slice of banana nut with chocolate chip cake. I likedcthe cake part, but didn't like the icing. If I go back it will be for the snickerdoodles. They were literally the best ones I've ever had.

This order was really special to me as it was for my partner, and even though I couldn’t be there with him, SusieCakes was! 💕 They helped me make this surprise come true, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The lady who helped us was incredibly kind and helpful. It was my son’s birthday and she was beyond sweet. The vainilla and red velvet cupcakes purchased were both delicious!

JUST AMAZING!!! The cupcakes and cookies I got were incredible and delicious. The server Amerie was so amazingly kind and helpful and helped me pick out exactly what I needed, and then some! Will definitely be going back!
