Pulled up to The Cookshak the other night, you know how it goes—needed that comfort, that real flavor after a long week. That fried chicken sandwich? Straight fire. Crispy on the outside, juicy as hell inside, bun toasted just right, slaw and sauce hittin' different. Took one bite and felt like I was back home, no cap. Fries on the side seasoned perfect, not too much, not too little.

The food is good if you dine in. I would advise against ordering takeout because the quality nosedives (dry chicken, soggy Mac and cheese). They have previously neglected to include salad dressing for a salad and would only refund a partial amount, charging us $9 for a handful of dry kale and soggy chicken.
