Food was pretty good, especially like the Chicken Tortilla soup. Atmosphere was good (slightly too load because so busy) service was lacking probably because too busy. You'd probably have a better experience going when it's not packed. But because it's always packed when I drive by...well that's why I decided this restaurant had to be a great place to dine & it was mostly. It was my 1st visit & I'll be returning so, I recommend ?

We have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. I was a waitress while at TCU! My husband and I ate there tonight and we were shocked at how empty the restaurant was. In the past, showing up at 6pm on a Friday was at least an hour's wait. So when we were seated immediately, we started wondering... Then we looked around and saw all the empty tables. Our waitress was amazing but the food was not the same and not good at all. My husband's chicken fajitas looked and tasted like an unseasoned chicken breast that had been sliced. My taco was cracked and greasy. Taco Casa makes a better taco. The salsa was different and not in a good way. It saddens me to see such a once amazing restaurant decline to the point that we won't be returning.

Another amazing experience at Uncle Julio’s. Alyssa was our server and she did an amazing job! Despite it being a packed Sunday night before the 2024 Eclipse, she made sure to be personable and tend to our needs throughout our meal. My grandma loves to come to this location when she visits from Florida, and she never leaves disappointed. My family and I got a few signature cocktails such as the Margarita of the Month - the Blood Orange, a strawberry frozen margarita, and the El Jefe. All of the drinks were so smooth and tasty, even if the wait for them was a bit long with the high volume. After trying a bit of everyone’s meal I came to the conclusion that Uncle Julio’s simply cannot make bad food, and this will be a place we return in the future for more Quesa-Birria and hot and sizzling fajitas. A special thanks to Alyssa for making my brother’s birthday dinner extra special.

Mexican food is my top 5 favorite foods, I've never experienced Mexican food cooked to perfection until I went to uncle Julio's in Ft worth Texas. My loved ones ( ?ND &SH?)and I were taken back by the carne fajitas and the chicken fajitas. Steak so tender I used my fork to cut the meat. The bacon wrapped shrimp is the best shrimp I've ever tasted. The chips and queso will have you excited for your entree. Amazing flavors, perfection in their culinary arts, The staff members at uncle Julio's were by far some of the nicest people I've come across in the industry.. This family friendly environment makes for a superb dining experience that you and your loved ones will be sure to not only remember, but want to experience again and again. You want the best, here it is. Experience the best at Uncle Julio's of fort worth Texas.
