It's a very low key place. Well worn, but in the best way. They know bbq .
Had the chopped beef sandwich and fries. They were super delicious.
They didn't put a bunch bbq sauce on the sandwich to my dismay but then it really doesn't need a bunch as the meat said it all
Really enjoyed the fountain drinks
As they are old time original .
The fries were way past fantastic.
We will return this bbq restaurant again.

I've lived here for 4 years! Have been to Franklin's 2 times, and finally had a chance to try this spot out literally 6 minutes from my house and boy oh boy, ill be buying all my bbq from this spot! Great front of house, clean well taken cared of restaurant with passionate workers! My wife and I ordered a lb each of brisket, burnt ends and pork ribs with a bucket of side BBQ sauce haha and honestly it wasn't needed but did it push it over the top for us! Thank you...

Great brisket! The potato salad is better than most, as is their slaw. The beans are pretty good, too. I always grab a single pound of ribs, 3 big ones. Their barbecue sauce is great.
