If I could give a zero I’d give it. We come to this bar to watch the packers games bc it’s been said it’s a “packers bar.” We went yesterday/last night and after spending plenty of money on food and drinks for a party of 8 they refused to serve us without no legitimate reasoning. We had three DDs and no one was being rowdy, loud, or out of hand. I get refusing service for suspected ppl that have had too much but this was not the case. Mind you, you have to be 21 to enter the place and to get asked for your ID at the bar (blue shirt/white hat dude) is absurd. Esp after we had been served alcohol at our table by our waitress for the last couple hours !! We will NOT be back! No legiti “packers bar” would refuse service to their patrons for no unknown reason!

The best. Everyone is welcome, and the regular bartenders are just kind people -- not sugary sweet, but good, real, kind folks. I have come to have a drink alone and with my husband, and it has always been a good night. Some come to turn up, some come to hang out, and some come to do their own thing. That is the mark of a good bar. Can't recommend highly enough.
Looks like a sports bar, feels like a pub.

Don’t bother playing anything on the jukebox because they’ll mute it and skip it- wasting your money. When we confronted them about it they acted oblivious to it and said we can take it up with the jukebox company. All frat boys in the bar… don’t waste your time unless you want cheap drinks.

Great atmosphere. Great place to play pool
Stopped by Woody’s Tavern this past Sunday and couldn’t have been happier with the vibe. This place is a gem—clean, laid-back, and the kind of spot where you can just kick back without any nonsense. The beer? Ice-cold and exactly what I needed. Ordered the pork nachos and was pleasantly surprised when they hit the table piled high with fresh smoked pulled pork—not that processed junk you’d expect from a lesser joint. Quality over quantity, and it shows.
Now, I peeked at some of the bad reviews before coming in, and I’ve got to say—some folks need to chill. Half of ‘em seem to come from single moms who apparently missed the giant “21 and over” sign by the door. Reading’s tough, I get it. Others hint at some discrimination vibes, but if that were the case, I’d be slapping a sixth star on this place just for keeping it real. Let’s be honest, though—Woody’s isn’t here to babysit or play nice with the easily offended.
The bar itself is top-notch—friendly staff, solid atmosphere, and they clearly know how to keep the riffraff out. Only gripe? The menu’s a bit slim. They should add bratwurst and run a campaign: “Brats outside, brats inside.” Genius, right? I’d give it a full 5 stars if they expanded it, but I’d rather have a handful of killer options than a book full of garbage. Looks like I’ve found my new go-to for sports Sundays. Woody’s gets a 4.5 from me—rounded up because they keep the brats (the annoying kind) where they belong: outside.
My absolute favorite place. The bouncers, servers, and bartenders are so welcoming and so accommodating. As a person of color, (since so many people accuse this place of not being inclusive) I love that this place is My bar home. Drinks are VERY cost friendly, the owner is in here frequently, this place is the best. Ive had birthdays, holidays, friends nights out, etc. here and am pleased every-time after 4 years. THANK YOU WOODYS<3

Week before Christmas at 5pm work crowd. Approximately 100 people and one bartender. Ridiculous. The only reason I didn't leave was I was meeting friends.
Finally just poured me a glass of water from the pitcher on the bar.

Let me be more clear, since this location wants to attempt a cya: EVERYONE IN OUR GROUP WAS WELL OVER 21. The staff member slowly approached us to ask if my wife was even with our group. Red flag number one since she clearly entered the establishment with us. Number two, simply because someone was looking at the games at the entrance doesn’t make them under 21.
I understand no under 21 policies, but next time, hide your prejudice a little better if you want people of color to come here. You can attempt another “cya” but if you even resemble a person of color, try again.
