This is the quintessential small town Cafe. Everyone inside knows each other and has been going there for years. This isn't a quick dine and dash you need to be prepared to take your time and enjoy yourself. We went on a Sunday at around 11 AM and beat the church traffic. Food was okay, maybe on par with IHOP. I had chicken fried steak and eggs, and my son had a philly cheese steak. I'm guessing the chicken fried steak comes frozen and wasn't freshly battered or anything like that. It was decent enough, but nothing special. This little cafe is has been a part of our town forever! Pancakes, French toast, has browns and crispy bacon is to die for! The fresh burger & onion rings or chicken fried steak is scrumptious! The fried fish on Friday night is the best! This is a hometown cafe! There is no loud music, or teenagers on their phones! Love, Love, Love this Franklin original! So many sweet memories!
