Amazing local spot for authentic German food. We had the Jager Schnitzel, Spaetzle and potatoe salad. It was better than many places we've eaten across Germany. Service was also perfect. Excellent place for dinner!
Great, and somewhat decently priced German food. It’s not anything special, and you can probably get something just like it down the road. But if you’re in the mood for German, Auslander is perfect. Portion sizes are extremely large, splitting your plate is recommended.
I don’t usually bother with reviews but wanted to share a couple of thoughts on this place. Service was good; however, overall the food was average. Our group tried 2 different sausages and didn’t care for either. Some of their sides were authentic (the red cabbage and sauerkraut) but the potato salad just wasn’t seasoned correctly - where’s the bacon? The Rouladen was good but they skimped on the gravy and their Ruebens left a lot to be desired. Sorry Auslander, that...
