Super nice staff, great deal on plates of food, meats include tri tip, brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs, BBQ chicken, pork loin. Tried the brisket and pork ribs with pinto beans that were outstanding and yummy Mac n' Cheese I would come back for and potato salad.

Came to Fredericksburg for a relaxing day and two people recommended this place, food is great as well as service and had a good time eating while listening to some music. Better than eating on Main Street, make sure you come early we were told sometimes they run out of food, that how good it is. ?

We were in Fredericksburg for the day and did not want to eat off the Main Street where the rest of the tourists were trying to get lunch. We decided on a BBQ joint and rolled up to this place. As you walked in, you can see the BBQ pit being manned inside the screened porch. We go to place our order and opt for the 3 meat plate of brisket, tri tip and pork loin. They did not ask if we wanted moist brisket or not. The guy quickly cut our meat for the plate and we picked the sides we wanted. I was a little disappointed that the Italian Cream cake was sold out, but we made do. They did offer us a side of beans for no extra charge in addition to the 2 sides we had already chosen.The brisket had a nice smoke ring and great season crust. You could tell they used more than just salt and pepper, which I am a fan of. It was tender and fell apart easily. The pork loin also had a nice smoky taste to it. I really enjoyed it. The tri tip was a bit tough, but had a nice flavor. The sides were all homemade. I opted for potato salad and cheesy green beans. The beans they provided also had a nice smokey flavor to them.This place was a fantastic stop on our trip to Fredericksburg. It is worth a stop.
It is an amazing place! We recommend the lean brisket , tri tip & pork ribs. And for the sides we got mac & cheese and another must have creamed corn. Staff was super super friendly .

Absolutely fantastic!! The brisket was so tender, and the smoke ring around the sliced brisket was a beautiful sight!!! Every single person behind the counter was informative and friendly!!! The beans are included with the plate and don't count as a side (that you don't ever see)!!! Definitely recommend that everyone should stop in!! We were serenaded by a gentleman who was a fantastic one man band!!!

Great selection of food. Fun atmosphere. Lots of choices on the menu mean you won’t go away hungry. Plenty of seating. Even had a guy singing when I was there. Made for a fun dinner. Ample parking, even for trailers and rvs.
Food: Great bbq meats here. Our favorites are the brisket (moist), all the sausages (3types), and the turkey. Pork ribs are ok too but sometimes not a tender as we like. Favorite sides: green beans, cream corn. Mac and cheese is ok. Beans are complimentary here. They have the best pickles here!Atmosphere: At this restaurant, you walk up to order… at busy times (Sunday lunch) there can be a wait of 20+ minutes. Not a problem for us but I mention for those who may struggle to stand for an extended period of time.
