We ate at this place twice and it was amazing both times! I will definitely be recommending this place to anyone I know that will be traveling to the area!
Our dinner at Catfish Haven was excellent. We had the Boudin balls, Captain's platter and 10 Butterfly Shrimp. All were delicious and perfectly cooked. Large portions so plenty for a to-go box. Very simple, nothing fancy. Super nice and friendly staff. Thank you!
The service and food was great!! Servings are a tad small but it was plenty for my husband and I. Enjoyed the catfish and onion rings.

Really awesome service, Sarah was sweet, kind and thoughtful. She made sure my food had none of my allergens in the ingredients. We had really great hamburger steak with sautéed onions and jalapeños and cheese and brown gravy. Also had great starter salad and fish and chips plate. The dessert was the best part warmed pecan pie with whipped cream! What a hidden gem only locals know about, lucky us.

I've written a previous review which wasn't great but deserved at the time. We've tried it again and over the last three visits on different days and different times had GREAT service and really good food. Tonight, our waitress Sarah was attentive helpful and did not mind asking the kitchen questions to make sure the inherited in my food would all be safe for my food allergies. They accommodated every request and the food really was fresh and good! Se the pics. Oh the pecan pure is served warmed!! Yum!
Dietary restrictions: They have numerous irons for dairy free dining and accommodate for carb free options.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a back entrance behind the restaurant with more parking and w/c access.
My first time here. The food is great and definitely got that southern hospitality feel. I love the decor inside. Highly recommend it! :)

have eaten here numerous times..food has always been acceptable...service always excellent...today my wife was served crab cakes that were warm on the outside but ice cold on the inside..server graciously offered to replace them...after a lengthy wait she received two more...one was done and the other was cold on the inside..again...my order of liver and onions was not good...meat was very edgy...so ate the toast and left the rest behind...spent over 50 bucks for a bad experience...stopped in llano on the way home and got a chopped beef sandwich...am done with catfish haven..
Disgusting and rude. The food was not good. They need an exterminator for the crickets and roaches we saw crawling around the floor. The wait staff were very rude. They have beer battered cod on the menu but that is not what you actually get. Idk what they used to batter the cod but it was not beer batter. The only thing that I liked were the French fries. Do not recommend.

Our food tasted like it was fried in really old oil. We were so hopeful since its "award winning" but it did not live up to the hype.

Went there at 3:30 Saturday with high hopes. Only 3 other tables occupied. We ordered the sampler platter for the variety to see how they were. The only good thing was the hush puppies. The only thing not at, or colder than room temperature, was the burnt frog legs. The baked potato would not melt already room temperature margarine. The waitress went to the kitchen and brought back one slightly warmer but not cooked all the way. The catfish was mixed prices, and no flavor. The rest seemed like it had been cooked and waiting for anyone to come along. It was all bland. About the baked potato. Another customer came in and sat near us. She order something similar and in a few minutes she asked the waitress if she could get a hot potato. The waitress returned from the kitchen and told her no. She said it would be another 45 minutes for that. We then listened to them having the same discussion about their food. Coincidence, I don't think so. We won't try again.
