Small family owned place. We had the brisket, pulled pork, jalapeño cheddar sausage with the beans & potato salad. Meats were great & sides were good as well. Even got to talk with the owner & check out the pits.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype
My boyfriend and I visited this BBQ spot after hearing a lot of buzz, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. We waited in line for about 30 minutes, which we were willing to do for good BBQ. However, the ordering system was confusing and frustrating. There are two separate stations: one for sandwiches and sides, and another further down the line for meats.
When I tried to order a jalapeño cheddar sausage sandwich and kimchi fried rice, the worker interrupted me mid-sentence to tell me I had to order meats at the other station. I explained I was ordering a sandwich, but he dismissed me and then just walked away without taking my order. I had to re-approach the counter to get someone else’s attention to help.
Once we finally sat down with our food, we were both disappointed. The meats and sides lacked seasoning and flavor, and nothing stood out as worth the wait or the price.
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this BBQ place. The service was poor, the food was underwhelming, and the whole experience just didn’t feel worth the time or money.

Too bad, really. Their food is delicious , and u would love to make this a regular place . BUT , I stood in line to order for 45 minutes ! Kind of a clown act , can’t order and get a number so they can bring it to you . Instead we had to wait until everyone in line got their complete order . 45 minutes is a ridiculous amount of time .

Eaker Barbecue in Fredericksburg, TX is amazing!! We're so happy we stopped by. We were so excited about the Korean and Texas BBQ mix, so we had to try a few sides. The kimchi, kimchi fried rice, and Korean cucumber salad were great! The brisket was just right. In addition, we got the lemon cookies as dessert as recommended. Overall, highly recommend if you're in the area. If we lived here, we'd be here all the time!

Great lunch at Eaker BBQ today! Brisket was awesome, jalepeno pork belly burnt ends were amazing and we really enjoyed eating out in the back yard area where our kids had room to run around after they ate. Had no line at 12:15 but line was out the door at 1:15!
We're from Dallas so safe to say we've eaten a lot of bbq. This place is an absolute gem and one of the best. Side dishes were phenomenal and Lance and Boo were so kind and gave great conversations. Lemon cookies were fire too!!
