My husband came here before we even met and he had been telling me about this warm wine that was Christmas in a cup and finally we made a trip out here and I got to taste this wine he had been talking about for YEARS! and let me tell you ..It did not disappoint! The couple working the counter were sweet and personable. I loved the conversation and banter. The wine tasting was reasonably priced and I got a wine glass with it. I love sweet wine so ended up purchasing a sweet rosé and the Christmas wine! Can't wait to visit again.

Did the wine sample testing! The person was very knowledgable. We bought 6 bottles. I recommend this one over Lost Draw Sellers.You can also order online. A bit pricey. However, I will be ordering online Only missing are cigars?

My sister and I just visited this winery and decided on each of us doing a tasting. We are both dry red drinkers. There were 3 of these as well as other white and sweeter wines available for the tasting. It was explained by the older man and woman working behind the counter that we were to choose 4. I chose the dry reds and one Riesling. My sister chose 2 of the reds and doubled up on the 3rd dry red because she does not like white or sweet wines. I would also like to ad that we are both in our 40’s and have been drinking wine for some time now and are very aware of not only how we prefer things, but also that we don’t like to pay for things forced upon us. The man notices that my sister has doubled up on the dry red and tells her that she’ll have to pick something else. She very politely informed him that she does not prefer white or sweet, and he mansplained to her that she needs to branch out and try new things. Again, we are in our 40s, and no stranger to wines in general. He asked her that if her children did not want to eat their vegetables that she would try to make them try new things wouldn’t she? My sister is very polite and not used to being belittled, so was not sure how to respond to him. She told him that her children were almost grown so they as well knew what vegetables they liked to eat by this time. This did not deter him. He went on to ask if she only liked red, but did not like white? She said yes. Then he commented that he would have thought Obama would have changed us on that. He asked, did Obama not teach us to like every color? We as well as the other four customers in the store were completely horrified. At this point, my sister and I wanted to get the wine tasting over and leave. We were each going to purchase a bottle and go to the nearby park to people watch and enjoy time together. But this man made us so uncomfortable with his belittling of women, sexist behavior and racist conversation, that instead of purchasing anything else, we left. We will never be back.

Ms. NewYork-Rican was amazing and so sweet! Me and my boyfriend went for some wine tasting and she was the best! We are definitely coming back! I definitely recommend this place!

Tim was our wine specialist who walked us through an incredible wine journey! And it was amazing! Very personable, nice, and welcoming.

Walked in June 24th. Stood around for a few minutes and no one helped us. We looked around and a while. 10 mins later a white couple walked in the lady behind the counter gave them a whole speak about how they can sample the wines and how all the wines were made right there in the room etc. It shocked me and my husband because she said nothing to us when we came in. The lady that works there clearly didn't want black customers in that winery. I will never suggest that is place to anyone of color. We will never be back but I'm sure thats what she wanted. The lady that was workin 6.24.23 in the evening is rude.

We almost didn't come here because of the surprisingly low rating. But we gave it a chance because it was close to where we were staying and actually ended up going there twice. The service here was fantastic and friendly, unlike some of the stuck up wineries down the street such as Grape Creek. The tasting price here is lower than any other vineyard and they give you a wine glass to take with you as a gift all for $15. The wines were very good. Check this place out!

We dropped in just to see what they had. We did a wine tasting and all I can say is Man Oh Man!!! I had a difficult time trying to narrow down the wines I wanted to purchase. The staff was magnificent, courteous, jovial, and knowledgeable about the different wine. She was able to pick up on what I might enjoy and allowed me to taste. I will definitely be going back to this store anytime I am in Fredericksburg.
