Granite House Lounge

Great little place with beautiful outdoor seating. There was a bit of a wait to sit inside, but we were more than happy to sit outside. Our server was very kind and helpful. Our drinks and apps were out in no time and were very good. I loved my main course and my wife also liked hers. I would highly recommend this place.

Granite House Lounge was a fantastic choice for dinner. My daughter treated me and we both loved everything. My chicken fried steak was easily one of the best I have had in Texas and her pasta with shrimp was chef’s kiss. The service was excellent and the whole place has a relaxed, comfortable vibe. Highly recommend.

Service was amazing — so attentive, offered great recommendations, and truly made our experience wonderful. Our server was fantastic from start to finish.
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the house pasta of the evening with a creamy sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, shrimp, and spinach — it was perfection. We also ordered the bruschetta garlic bread, which was the perfect bite to start. And the banana bread pudding was incredible — a must-try.
Overall, such a great dining experience. We would come back over and over again.

This place does not live up to all the hype. Many much better restaurants to choose from in Fred. We are locals and have had really bad service every time. The host took our name down last time we were there and completely forgot about us. They sat several people ahead of us that were walk ups and completely indifferent when I raised this to them.This has happened more than once. Long waits for mediocre food. Gave it a few tries my few years living here and will not be going back for another.

This was another annual trip to Fredericksburg for a work event and we were determined to get back to Granite House Lodge. We ate there last year and it was amazing and this year was no different. Highly recommend it.

My friend and I were in town on a girls weekend and we were recommended this restaurant by a local and it did NOT disappoint. We started with appetizers which i highly recommend the bang bang shrimp! We didnt see cucumber martinis on the menu but our waitress Maria, said they could make it happen! Her service was so good and her knowledge of the menu was top tier! We were heading out ready to call it a night and waiting for our Uber when a gentleman passed by with the most beautiful pink drinks ever! We had to try whatever he had, and ended up cancelling the Uber and sitting on their our door seating for hours! The staff here made us feel like family, Bobby and the staff were amazing! And we will now add granite house as our dinner spot anytime we are in town! Their drinks and food combined with their hospitality made us feel like locals! Thank you for making our girls weekend memorable.

We sat at the bar and Taren was our bartender/waitress. Could not have had a better one ! She’s quite possibly the best!

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful house repurposed into a delightful place to eat. Went at night and was not disappointed. Gorgeous woodwork, excellent food, and fantastic waitstaff!!
