Opa's Smoked Meats is a fantastic little smoked meat shop full of history and the nicest people. For years, customers have visited the Fredericksburg location, finding the people always so welcoming and happy to share the family history. The shop offers the freshest smoked meats and sausages, including the Hatch sausage, which is the best sausage some have had. Other items include deviled eggs, garlic bologna, summer sausage, and seasoned crackers. Customers can also purchase assorted cheeses, deli sandwiches, or the chicken sausage, which is excellent. Products like Opa's sausages are also available at Walmart, described as extremely tasty and high quality.
