Great outdoor space. Service was fine. Food was good. It is really more about the ambiance of it all. Day spot for sure on the patio anywhere is great. Go enjoy.

Cute spot for lunch with a variety of options. Service and food were both great. Quick in and out as well.

We stopped in for brunch after arriving in Fredericksburg. Great location, not too crowded, great menu and friendly service.

Visiting from Oregon. What nice place. Texas hill country atmosphere, good food at a decent price and a full bar. Loved the Lips and Rouge cocktail AND the fried dessert pies The outdoor area is spacious and trendy. The staff was very nice and attentive. Monday and Tuesdays there can be a wait since a lot of other restaurants are closed those days but get a drink and relax outside.

Our first stop in town was a good one! The ambiance is perfect. We sat outside for a perfect lunch setting. The food and mimosas were on point. Our server was great as well. Great spot!

Visted Hill and Vine on our 1st day in Fredricksburg and absolutely loved it! We got the watermelon and tomato salad that was amazing. The fruits and veggies were so fresh and the walnuts were very flavorful. The bartender made our drinks very delicious as well. I recommend you stop by Hill and Vine for lunch if your visiting Fredricksburg!!

What a wonderful experience. Although we had to wait a bit for a table, we were able to enjoy a drink at the bar and observe the bar tenders mixing drinks and serving with smiles. Once seated, our server, Heather, was welcoming, friendly and super efficient. Our meal came quickly with a smile. Heather checked on us continually. Our food, Chicken Schnitzel for my husband, and smoked pork chop for me (with cheese grits, awesome), was fantastic. We loved the decor and atmosphere as well. We highly recommend this spot for your next meal!

Hill & Vine in Fredericksburg distinguishes itself with its inviting outdoor ambiance and reliably good food. The restaurant is a favorite for those looking to enjoy meals that are satisfying and well-prepared, without the pretense of high-end dining. Its outdoor seating area, designed to embrace the beauty of Fredericksburg's natural scenery, provides a tranquil setting that elevates the dining experience. While the culinary offerings may not vie for haute cuisine accolades, they deliver heartiness and flavor that cater to a wide array of palates. Hill & Vine emerges as a commendable choice for diners seeking a pleasant atmosphere paired with solid, enjoyable meals.

I cannot speak for the food because I was picking up an order for somebody else. However, the service was horrible! I walked up to the bar to pick up the order three women were standing there. Not one of them greeted me, or said hello I kept looking at one of them to see if they would give me eye contact to see who I needed to talk to you about getting my order, no eye contact the lady came out from behind the bar went to the cash register and walked over to me 30 seconds later she actually greeted me as a customer. The only reason I gave atmosphere a 3 was because I was there for a pick up order and didn’t actually sit down, but there was a very nice man that greeted me hello and as I was leaving a young server was nice enough to say thank you have a good day!I have not eaten there yet and was thinking about trying it out and at this point I probably won’t. No wonder why they have a 4.2 rating. As for the rude bartender behind the bar, she needs to find a new job!

The food was terrific but the service was significantly lacking. The server we had completely derailed the experience.

We attempted to come to eat here on 3/12. I had seen that they were still open compared to other venues and restaurants nearby which had already closed. We found a parking spot and lugged our two small children all the way to the front to be told they were no longer sitting any patrons for the evening. This happened to the family before and after us. When you are no longer taking tables for the evening it seems, as a courtesy, you would hang a sign either on your door or in your parking lot so that people would not waste their time only to be turned away from your establishment .

Waited 45 to an hour or more for ONE late of pasta. Will not be coming back. The poor waiter felt bad and all they could let us was desert. Lame.
