Place came recommended and for our first night in town we decided to keep it simple. After being sat you're given your menus and then place your order at the bar. There was one counter open so if you caught the wrong time you could be waiting a bit. Food was good and came pretty quick, with the buzzer telling you to pick up. No frills kind of place which was a nice start to our weekend.

From arrival until our departure.....staff was amazing,, food delicious. We had the mac n cheese with brisket ( fell apart like butter melting) noodles tender. The burger was amazing, and the meat patty is definitely something you'll have to eat with 2 people. All fresh ingredients, and a definitely a true gem.

Sit and stay for the drinks and the music. Get some of the small bites and skip the bigger plates. Entrees need some help. We loved the outdoor patio, the Margaritas are amazing and the Shirley Temple and Dr. Pepper is kissable.

Great place for indoor OR outdoor food, live music (check for times), or just having a drink (full bar soft drinks iced tea etc) by yourselves or with some friends. This is a self serve place: just go to the reception table by the door (on the side) , get a table & menu from one of the friendly staff, and order whatever you want from either of two bars. Great menu selection.. we really especially enjoyed the onion ring strings.. but don't fill up on apppetizers. The lunch & dinner portions are BIG. We've loved it both times we were there.

The most mid American fare food you will ever eat. Imagine burgers so large you can’t eat them normally, so you have to take them apart, throw away the juice soaked bun, and it each piece separately. They don’t even have waiting staff and expect you to go to a counter to order. If you’re going to charge real restaurant prices, you should probably have real restaurant service. Skip out on Hondo’s and go somewhere better.

Good food and the Ice tea was tasty. The salad was delicious. Fajitalada was different, another way to eat enchiladas and fajitas 😋, Brisket sandwich was delicious as well. Sweet potato fries 🍟🤪 awesome. 😎
