Came here for breakfast, no one else in the restaurant. A loud noise kept coming out of PA system was told nothing could be done it was owners notifications and they didn't come in until 11. Food was ok, but apparently syrup is rationed as my wife was given a small container for 2 huge pancakes. I got berry waffles and didn't get any, when I ask waiter laughed and said you must really like syrup. I would not recommend until later in the day when management is there

As a local who recently opened a B&B we are visiting ALL of the restaurants that serve breakfast so we can put together a list of recommended establishments. This one won't make the list. The atmosphere is great. We really wanted to like this place. We went for breakfast. We ordered coffee and water. My husband and I each got 1 cup of coffee for the entire meal. Ask numerous times for a refill and kept being told "its being made". My husband drinks ALOT of coffee with his meal, however, AFTER his meal was finished he was offered a watered down expresso version of coffee because their normal coffee wasn't making properly. This was undrinkable. $4.00 for a single cup of coffee and no refills available. I told the server we should not have to pay $4.00 for coffee that was not refillable. He said "oh" and walked off. The restaurant should have taken the coffee off our tab since they were not able to offer refills. We understand things come up and aren't always perfect, but, not attempting to make it right with the customer left a bad impression for us.

We were in there a few months ago & they had an awesome menu & awesome food and service. Went for breakfast today & they had nothing. New & HIGHLY reduced menu we were given said you were offered choices but when we asked for our choices we were told you get what you are given...haha!! Coffe was soo thick & left sludge in bottom of cup so didnt ask for another cup. Service was horrible. Never followed up once food was delivered, had to flag down for water refill & later for check. We used to love this place but won't ever return.

Chicken fried steak was soggy - likely reheated. Roasted veggies were closer to raw than roasted. Couldn’t get bbq at dinner… since this bbq place offers it only at lunch? Everything was just mediocre and overpriced.

I’ve lived in Fredericksburg, Texas for 20+ years…. I love the established restaurants like Raskellers , Hondo’s, Auslanders, Ottos… but I tried this restaurant. I paid $29 for Chicken Fried Steak plus tip $38 . Isn’t Chicken Fried Steak supposed to be crispy? It was soggy ! Sauté vegetables were raw (not cooked at all) ! I’m sick of new restaurants taking advantage of local people. I’m sticking with the old time favorites!

Had the chicken fried chicken and was great. The owner came around to greet, and since we go to Fredricksburg often, we wanted to try this place out. Will definitely come back, and bartender K. Was great and made magnificent drinks!

Service was good, drinks was good, ambience is good, very clean place. I gave it a 4 star because the food was not real hot and the cheese sauce on the chips was excellent but very little of the sauce.

We had reservations for a Thanksgiving buffet. They had assigned seating for us and awesome live music. Everything about it felt very warm and welcoming. They really took care of us. It was a traditional Thanksgiving spread. The turkey, ham and sausage were especially delicious. The sides were good too. Plenty of food! The pumpkin bread pudding was our favorite dessert. We have been disappointed in the past eating out on Thanksgiving day, but finally not here. They did have a bit of a rocky start which they acknowledged and apologized for. We were among the first to eat for the day. We waited a little later than start time to be let in (mayyybe 5 minutes) and the corn was cold. I think they forget to heat it up. Also it was sitting next to the gravy where the potatoes should have been. I let our server know and he promptly took care of it. Every employee in the building was very pleasant.Overall, it was a REALLY GREAT experience and am grateful that they were open and were there to serve us while being away from their own families/friends. Thank you!!

I went on a Wednesday morning 11/8 for breakfast with my mom…. Let me just say beautiful place I loved it… secondly very friendly staff even though our server was alone(seemed like it was just him and the cook) he was very friendly and very diligent with us as well as other tables keep in mind he was alone!!! The cook brought us out our food and he was very friendly as well he gave off very great vibes. The food was delicious… I order the monte Cristo waffle and it was mouth watering good as well as the eggs and the sausage… let me finish off by saying I never ever ever write reviews on anything but this experience was to good to not share :)

Have been looking forward to trying this place, the makeover was great, atmosphere is beautiful. We went in on a Saturday, and there were 2 servers and 1 bartender in the whole place doing everything so seemed very short staffed. Food took a while to come out and this is where I was most disappointed. I had brisket and pulled pork street tacos, the brisket did not seem like it was smoked maybe more out of a container that was warmed up. The guacamole appeared to be blended completely up which I did not care for. The pulled pork was more like a minced meat than a pulled pork. My daughter had the Fritz pie and the cheese was like a cheez whiz, with very little meat. Overall we were disappointed in our experience here. If you want real BBQ go to Eaker or Backwooods.

Great place for lunch, delicious food service was good, but at the time only one server for the entire restaurant, but he did a great job. I had smoke turkey sandwich, waffle fries, and great onion rings!
