Loved this place! My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and enjoyed everything about this place and would go back. It is at the top of the list as far as we are concerned. Only disappointment, and this is nit picking, when I made a reservation, I was asked if it was a special occasion and selected that it was our anniversary. I kind of expected them to do something, like a dessert like most places do, but they did not do anything. Not a big deal, but maybe do not ask on the reservation if no follow through.

We found this gem late in our trip to Fredericksburg. We did not have dinner reservations, so we decided to stop in for a cocktail and an appetizer. It was great, for what we were there for. They had a creative and extensive cocktail list. The appetizers we ordered were spot on. Service was outstanding, we can't wait to return for a full dinner.

This was our first time here, we loved it! Our Hostess Zoey was wonderful she explained everything to us and was very accommodating, service was excellent. My husband had the Pork Chops and I had the beef tenderloin, both dinners were delicious, we will definely be back, it’s at a great location and great parking .

We took a last minute reservation for their outside patio area and ordered from the Bar Bites menu! Delicious choices and great atmosphere! The entire restaurant was all booked up except for the patio but the service and food did not disappoint!

Sage is the perfect place to dine whether you are celebrating or simply looking for a top dining experience. Their talented culinary team will woo you as well as their bar program serving of sleek cocktails and exceptional wines. I have dined in for the tasting menu with a group as well as a la carte on my birthday, both truly impressed!

The food here is amazing. The chef is from Germany and he creates art out of the dishes that are served. Finger licking delicious and the ambience helps to underline the high quality of it all. The staff is friendly and there options to sit inside or outside. Will certainly be back.

Dinner will be talked about for a few weeks! The ambiance, service and food were fantastic. We had the seafood duo with scallops and salmon and the different flavors and textures created one of the best tasting dishes both of us have had in while. We're still talking about it days later. Kudos to the chef and kitchen team! The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly. Great night and dinner!

We had a long wait despite having reservations, no problem. Our pre-dinner cocktails were amazing. All except one which was not even drinkable. We asked the waitress about it who promptly got her manager. The manager was extremely condescending and rude and completely out of line especially since we had just spent $200 on our drinks alone pre-dinner. We went on to wait nearly an hour for our food watching every table around us get their food first despite coming in after us. One person at our table had a small metal sponge/dish cleaner in her meal. (This was refunded as it was also inedible given it had metal in it) The lobster was rubbery. All to say - after $200 On drinks, $600 on the meal and to be treated as if you are completely beneath the staff and not as a customer - we will not be returning. Do not recommend.

Best way to end a day of wine tasting, a late even meal on the patio , you would think arriving at 9:30 things might be on the tried side but we were warmly welcomed and taken to our table , we all started off our meal with drinks and bread & apps enjoyed every last drop Next meal and wine they even served a wine from one of the wineries we had visited that day , nice surprise, it was a place where we were able to visit , laugh and enjoy each other and did not feel rushed through our meal even though I am sure we were one of their last reservations for that evening , will be a place we keep marked as a place to dine when in Fredericksburg.

The ambiance and food here are an amazing experience! From the service, to the drinks and food, it was well worth the visit. I will definitely visit again.

Two of dined at Sage on a Friday night. One had the lamb chops which were described as being delicious, juicy, and cooked to the exactly correct temperature. The other had a stead which was also very good. Service was excellent. The only downside was that the meal, while absolutely faultless did, in our experience, measure up to the price.

We walked all over Fredericksburg on Sat evening with no reservations and found this restaurant, that actually blew us away. The patio is gorgeous, a mix of modern and traditional, with stone and wood, nice big fireplace and lots of seating around it. The food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. We were especially impressed how all the servers, host and owner pitched in with everything was needed, busing , cleaning, serving. My husband wanted a Calvados to end the dinner, and they went to search for it in the storage, I guess it's not very common, but they found it for him! They were offering a very generous Easter brunch the next day, which unfortunately couldn't go to, but the menu was impressive (at only $49). In our opinion, the best restaurant in Fredericksburg! We will return!

We had a great lunch. The food and service were excellent. The grilled cheese was fantastic, and the accompanying greens fresh and crisp.
