Y'all should play German folk music to enhance the experience. The food was great as always and our waiter was very friendly. We love coming here when visiting Fredericksburg.
We visited here on a Saturday morning around 10am in Aug 2025. The place was packed and there was about a 40 minute wait to get a seat. You have to wait outside and it was hot. There is an awning that provides some shade. There are not enough places to sit so you will probably have to stand and wait. If your entire party isn't there they will skip over you and call the next group. When you get there go inside and put your name on the list then go outside to wait for your...
Great casual Old German restaurant/cafe bakery. Luckily we had cash as the card machine wasn't functional on our visit. Everything was absolutely delicious from the fried green tomatoes to the price and small town home feeling from the staff. Super friendly and did not break the bank unlike other eateries near by/Fredericksburg.
