Totally pleasantly surprised. Avocado toast was far from basic, stacked higher than expected with perfectly cooked eggs and yummy avocado smash, but the kale salad on top sent me over the top!!! Fiancé had a county style breakfast sandwich that tasted like it was made by grandma with all the love of 100 generations. Definitely coming back, probably every time I’m in wine country. Plus the staff, sooooo sweet and fast.
Nice little coffee shop however the 4 stars on food are because I asked for a Cortado and I got an espresso machiatto. This after the barista try to serve me just an espresso. Coffee is good, service is good, nice decor and ambiance. Outdoor seating is available.
Stayed in FBG for a week recently and we came to Caliche everyday! Great coffee/tea selections, delicious food (the scones and croissants were especially fantastic), and the staff was super friendly. They also offer wifi and we were able to work from the store for a couple of hours while we waited to get into our AirBnB. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back when I am in town!
