Authentic amazing german food! We had the sausage ball appetizer and split the frankfurt…. It was the perfect amount for us! Sausage was so good and the sides of mustard were perfect, we couldn’t decide which one we liked better. Evening live music made for a great relaxing night. Definitely a must do in Fredericksburg!

Extremely disappointed in the service at this establishment. I’ve been here twice and enjoyed the food & the atmosphere. Today when I went in, I had a bit of a rough day so was slow to eat my food. Instead of asking me if I was still eating, my server took my plate and asked if I was interested in dessert. I know I should have spoken up, but it is common courtesy to ask a guest if it is okay to grab their plate before doing so. I am disappointed to say that I will not be a returning guest.

Great experience from start to finish. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and well presented. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

My husband took me and our daughters here for my birthday. The hostess was complimentary and friendly. Our server, Annette, was German and that added to the experience. She was attentive and helpful as well. Our good was good. I started with an Empress Lavender Lemon drink from the bar. Superb. My pretzel was delicious alone as well as with the grainy mustard and beer cheese. My meatloaf came with spaetzel and broccoli I. The meatloaf was a little bland but the broccoli I was divine and the spaetzel, I didn't have a bar set so it was interesting. The sauce could have had more flavor, but I liked the texture of the noodles. My oldest daughter loved the French fries and both took home leftovers from their kids meal. We were too full for dessert, but I'd love to come back and try some. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing evening celebrating my special day.

Large portions, and All three were excellent!
Our waitress, Kailey, was pleasant and very helpful.
