The breakfast tacos are spot on authentic tacos!! Homemade tortillas. Large and filled tacos. They cost me $6.75. it's is special made because I don't eat eggs. They have never messed up my order. Sometimes I eat half for breakfast and the other half for lunch. They are worth the drive from Surfside, Clute, Freeport, anywhere in that area. They open super early so if you work at the plants you will be able to pick one up.
The place is small but comfortable, the staff was friendly enough, the bathroom could use a bit of updating. The food was good depending on what you order. The cheese enchiladas were pure Tex Mex, the cheese quesadilla plate was good and the charro beans were very meaty with a tinge of spicy, delicious. I order the birria quesadilla, it was good, bit the meat could have been a bit more flavorful or needed more birria juice. First timer visiting this small business. Was in the search for a breakfast taco to sit down and enjoy. Ordered their hippo and it came out in less than 5 minutes. Only complaint I have is that the bacon is so hard. It’s like everywhere I go they all use the same bacon and it’s just hard and thick cut so I picked out all the bacon.
