AMAZING FOOD!! Plenty to share! My husband & I split the seafood platter & had plenty!!! The service was great! We never had to ask for refills on our drinks. I DEFINITELY would recommend this place if you are wanting fresh seafood! Didn't taste like any of it had been frozen.

This is a great down home, local seafood house. It has been here for years and the food is great. I brought guest from Tulsa and KC who rarely got fresh seafood. We all three had the Paw Paw's special and love it. We would definitely come back when we are in town again.

Hi, they do not like children in the restaurant they will complain and tell you to leave, do not go there, they will ask you to leave.

This place is the worst place you can eat at on the coast avoid at all cost. Not only is the service terrible but the owner/manager is the worst human being I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Experience was the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant in 37 years.

When my stuffed flounder is 100 times better, the $40 we paid is way over priced. Flounder was over cooked, stuffing did not have any crab to speak off, and potato tasted old.

A perfectly small and unassuming seafood restaurant, right on the sand at Surfside Beach. You need to start with an order of the fried asparagus topped with shrimp & crab in a lemon and chive cream sauce -- and don't let them take the plate until you've sopped up all of the sauce with the fresh bread. You can order fried fish for your entree, but you're going to wish you had ordered the snapper. My choice for dinner was the Snapper Opelousas, and it was divine. It's a snapper filet blackened and topped with spicy Alfredo sauce with shrimp, crabmeat, and crawfish. You'll think you just snuck into Heaven's kitchen after eating this one!As usual for me, the quality of the food alone doesn't make it a 5 star experience. The service has to be great, too. Our waitress was full of smiles and seemed genuinely happy to serve up the excellent food. She was patient and kind and took great care of us while we chatted our way through dinner. I wish I could thank her by name but didn't catch it. She made the evening just perfect in her attentiveness.

You know, I want to like this place more. It was my dad and stepmom's "place" and she loves it. The last couple of times I've been, though, it's just not good. The latest trip, this week, was bad. My shrimp tasted strongly of chlorine-y city water, as did my wife's. The gumbo was not gumbo, but a thick soup that tasted like green peppers and I-don't-know-what. My kid's Alfredo was "mid" at best. The bread was good.As for service, we waited a lot. For the server to take our order; for our check; for plates to be cleared; for everything. And for this bad food/bad service experience, we paid over $150 for dinner for four.Dietary restrictions: I believe I will restrict this restaurant from my diet.

A seafood restaurant near Angleton Texas. Fairly expensive for what you get. Grilled whole fish was fairly flavourless and small for the price!!!........ a little disappointed.
