This is a local spot serving up Greek and Cajun style seafood in a nicely decorated seaside shanty. I started off with the Greek salad and everything was fresh and crispy, the vinaigrette was really good and there was no lack of feta cheese. For dinner the Sautéed Filet of Snapper Opelousas was my choice…a chunk of snapper blackened. Delicious food & great service.
I've been to the red snapper many times. I recently tried the bar trash appetizer. It is basically six shrimp topped with a little bit of seasoned crab meat, setting in about 2/3 cup of oil; $23(overpriced). I would not get it again.

Red Snapper Inn offers a unique dining experience with delicious food and impeccable service. The seafood platter is a must-try, more than enough to share. The jalapeño poppers with crab dressing and cheese croquettes are appetizers to die for. The atmosphere is like a museum, filled with interesting nautical pieces and history. The owner is passionate about sharing the stories behind each item. The service is exceptional, with friendly staff like Jeanne and Nicole who go above and beyond. The bar trash appetizer may be overpriced, but the rest of the menu makes up for it. For fresh seafood that doesn't taste frozen, this place comes highly recommended.
