“You don't have many choices to eat in Freer, so it is fortunate that the town sports one of the great, locally owned cafes in Texas. "Ya Ya's" homestyle burgers is one great burgers as are the fresh peeled and sliced fries (ask for them instead of the frozen fries). That is what I get every visit on my way to Houston or Laredo. But the working class ranch hands and oil field workers order the Mexican dishes most often. Great place to stop on HWY 59!“

“I really enjoyed this place. I'm sure everyone knows the saying, "It's the little out of the way places that are the best", well that fits this place. The food was great, the prices were comfortable and the staff was friendly. Try it out and see if you don't agree! I liked it!“

“Great tasting food at an affordable price! I love their breakfast tacos and especially recommended the Taco Loco if you haven't already tried it! Has a bit of everything in it and amazing taste with their Habanero salsa! They are pretty busy during morning hours due to oilfield crews always stopping to grab tacos and border patrol guys like to hang out dine in. Decent sized dining area and staff is always friendly and happy to serve you. Never have had to wait very long before getting served or my order being taken but would highly recommend ordering ahead if trying to avoid long lines inside and drive thru. Highly recommend El Cazador to locals and people passing thru alike!“
