“Delicious food and has some of the best sashimi I've come across.“

“Service wasn't great. No small plates for appetizers. Trash barely getting picked up even when it was put to the side. Menu was catered to the more american cooked sushi lovers. When you eat the sashimi, it's not fresh (has the mucus like slime of food sitting out). Tiny pieces of squid in the takoyaki, and ramen did not have the umami flavor like thr authentic ramen shops would have. Overall, it's an OK ramen place, just not a place for fresh authentic sushi or ramen.“

“My first time here. Great advice from Jack, the waiter. All tabletops and floor meticulously clean. I and my friend showed up a little early for dinner (5.30 pm). By 6 pm the place was filling up.

We received excellent recommendations from Jack.
Our Ramen bowls were delicious, as was the seaweed salad, and the combo of jasmine and green tea. We will be back!“

“Our first visit and it was a hit for us. Wait staff were pleasant, helpful and prompt but did not hover. Really enjoyed the House Special Lo Mein and Fried Rice. The meat was tender and very flavorful. Also, the green tea was really good as well. It will be our go to from now on.

“I came a few hours before they closed. There was no wait on a Thursday evening. My server was nice and gave me a few recommendations since it was my first time here.

Why is the chashu sliced very thin for the buns? The brussel sprouts in the ramen was very interesting since it was my first time having the vegetable as a topping in this bowl of noodle. The Tonkotsu broth was pretty good. The coconut shredded cake was soft and packed with alot of shredded coconut hence the name for it.“

“Dining at Aki Sushi. I had a fantastic experience at Aki Sushi with my wife. We started with steamed dumplings, which were delightful. My wife had the tonkatsu ramen, a dish bursting with fresh flavors, along with the melt-in-your-mouth wagyu sashimi. I tried the smoked brisket ramen, a unique and delicious dish, and unagi with foie gras sushi wow !!! is all I have to say about that one. We also enjoyed a salmon skin roll, one of my favorites. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable meal. Aki Sushi stands out with their fresh wasabi ground tableside and fresh, never-frozen bluefin tuna. Highly recommend for anyone who loves sushi and ramen!“

“I'm visiting Houston with some friends and they took me out for Dinner here. The service is fantastic and the food is amazing. We ordered quite a spread, among my favorites were the grilled veggies and the mackerel. The staff is amazing and attentative and I absolutely would recommend if you are seeking a casual environment with good drinks and yakitori.“

My wife loves the ramen here, she's had both the Miso and Tonkatsu pork ramen and loves them both... Me on the other hand, love my special sushi rolls, and here my favorites are the Angry Dragon roll, Yummy roll, and Chameleon roll, the Angry Dragon has a really good kick to it... The spring rolls are delicious, the egg drop soup was good, the house salad was great, and the karaage chicken was hot and fresh.... Definitely found another great Japanese dish spot to eat at... This place is great, almost anything you try here will be great.“
