Waiting time was horrible. Waited for 55mins and after that it took 20more mins to get the food :(. Other than this, it was ok to go there. I am not going there again.

First, thank you for reopening reservations and for the beautiful new interior, it really looks great.

I have been visiting Bharat Bhavan almost every month since it opened, and the service has always been excellent. One of my favorite dishes has always been the Paneer Do Pyaaza, which I’ve ordered many times.

However, during my most recent visit, the food was not at the level it used to be. The flavor and overall quality felt different from what I’ve experienced before, which was disappointing because this restaurant has always been one of my reliable favorites.

I was actually impressed on my last visit that even after a year the quality had remained consistent, which is not always the case with many Indian restaurants in the DFW area. Unfortunately, this time the food did not meet the same standard.

I truly hope this was just an off day because I’ve always enjoyed coming here and would love to see the food return to the quality it was known for.

Bharat Bhavan Restaurant in Frisco is a culinary gem that stands out in the DFW area. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant’s decor is tasteful, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for a relaxing meal. The food is nothing short of extraordinary; it’s the pinnacle of authentic vegetarian cuisine. Each dish is crafted with precision, bursting with flavors that transport you straight to the heart of India.

What truly sets Bharat Bhavan apart is its impeccable service. Despite being a new establishment, they handle large crowds effortlessly, ensuring minimal wait times and consistently delivering hot, fresh meals. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, making every guest feel valued and welcome. Pricing is another highlight—remarkably reasonable considering the premium quality of both the food and the service.

Bharat Bhavan has quickly become a favorite among locals, and it’s easy to see why. Their commitment to maintaining authenticity and high standards is evident in every aspect of the dining experience. If you’re looking for the best vegetarian food in DFW, Bharat Bhavan is the place to go. I can’t wait to return and enjoy more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended!

If you’re hunting for the ultimate vegetarian dining experience in the DFW area, Bharath Bhavan in Frisco is an absolute masterpiece. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance hits you—elegantly modern with warm, inviting touches that make every meal feel special. The lighting, décor, and comfortable seating strike that perfect balance between upscale and cozy.

Their thalis are nothing short of legendary, and each item feels thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and rich. Even the simplest dishes taste extraordinary. The service is attentive without being intrusive, making you feel valued as a guest rather than just a diner.

Whether it’s a casual meal, a special occasion, or a first date, Bharath Bhavan elevates vegetarian cuisine to a whole new level. Hands down, the best vegetarian restaurant in DFW—I’m already planning my next visit!

Definitely winner of the Block!!

We went multiple times to this place. Every time i waited for almost 20 mins.
Sometimes I noticed that most of the space behind the counter is empty and they are not letting customers to seat there for some reason.

Coming to Food

Mostly the items are hit or miss kind of status.
Some dishes like Chat/fried fast food and some desserts are definitely a miss.
Not up-to the hype.
Some dishes like Indo Chinese, south Indian tiffins and Some pulavs are good and can be tried here.
The atmosphere is good and ambience is super good.

Good marketing technique by keeping the restaurant open only in the evenings. Creating the hype and then not living up-to it.
Certainly there is a lot of room for improvement food wise.
The ambience and atmosphere is great.
Service is good and prompt.
Friendly staff.

Had a bad experience today in Bharat Bhavan.
We ordered stuff and the lady staff made a grumpy face and almost left unanswered when asked about take away containers. Later she just rushed with some containers, we paid the bill we were just packing our stuff and this lady again rushed with some spoons and forks to refill on the table. She asked my husband to pass on the spoon rack to fill her new spoons… it was an awkward situation . I told her to just stop as we were leaving.
She could have waited for few minutes as we were already ready to leave.
Hopeless service… and rude staff.

One of the worst vegetarian meals I’ve had. The thali was a complete disappointment, the chilli paneer was undercooked and soggy, and the rava dosa was extremely oily with an odd taste. Very poor quality overall.

Very disappointing experience at Bharath
Bhawan Frisco tonight.

We were seated at 9:10 PM and ordered Hara Bhara Kabob (appetizer), Pasta, and Bhendi Masala. The pasta arrived first at 9:42 PM, before the appetizer. Then the staff informed us that the kabob contains ghee, so due to my spouse's dietary restrictions we switched to Lasuni Gobi. Minutes later they came back again saying that also has ghee and that they would instead make Hara Bhara Kabob with oil.

When the kabob finally arrived, it still had ghee. We had to reorder Crispy Corn, which didn't arrive until 10:10 PM, long after we had finished our main course. Most of our food ended up cold due to the delays.

To make matters worse, we were still charged for the Hara Bhara Kabob despite clearly mentioning the dietary restriction issue.

Overall, the service was extremely disorganized with no management oversight. Instead of enjoying dinner, we spent most of our time trying to get the attention of the waitstaff and correcting order mistakes.
Very disappointing experience.

The pic shows 3 pieces of the kabob which we left, the other went in trash already.
