Hutchins BBQ Reviews
it was so delicious! great staff. everyone was so nice. thank you for a great dinner!
Next on our trip, we tried Hutchins BBQ in Frisco, and this was awesome. The food, the service—everything was great. Even with a long line (about 30 minutes), they kept things fun and even gave us samples while we waited.
We tried it all: brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs, mac and cheese, corn, jalapeño sausage, turkey, Texas Twinkie, peach cobbler, and banana pudding. Every single bite was solid.
To top it off, we got a tour from Corbin, the founder’s son—you...read full review

Hutchins BBQ offers delicious food with incredible flavors and perfectly cooked meat. The brisket is a standout, and the desserts like banana pudding and peach cobbler are popular choices to finish a meal. The restaurant’s sides, including cream corn, twice baked potatoes, and beans, are highly praised and come with free bread. Many customers note that Hutchins BBQ in McKinney is very consistent, with friendly and helpful staff, making it a favorite spot for repeat visits. The meats are tender, moist, and of high quality, with dishes like pork ribs and Texas Twinkies (jalapeño stuffed with chopped brisket and cream cheese, wrapped with bacon, then deep fried) being especially popular. Visitors appreciate the smoked brisket and sausage, calling them some of the best they’ve ever had. The mac and cheese is often described as the best ever, and the ribs are smoked to perfection, easy to pull but not fall-off-the-bone. While prices can be high, many feel the food is worth the wait, which can be around an hour on weekends. Service is friendly, with café style ordering at the counter, and the dining room is clean, though somewhat loud. Parking can be challenging, but overall, the experience is well worth it. Hutchins BBQ offers a great selection of traditional Texas-style sides, and diners enjoy complimentary soft serve ice cream. The vibe is friendly and lively, making it a favorite for special occasions or casual visits.
